I just got back from getting my hair hilighted, cut, colored and styled. This is my first time coming here and I really appreciated the consultation that I had received last week from my stylist, Cindy. I visit Vancouver often for business and have had bad luck finding someone that have actually listened to what I wanted.
My hair is extremely long and heavy because my previous stylist did not thin it out nor texturized it like I had asked. My bangs were all crooked and heavy as well. Cindy took the time and was very attentive, she even suggested certain styles that would compliment my face because I never had any shape or texture to my hair.
I'm not sure what "Jenna" is talking about, but Cindy isn't Filipino, nor racist, if you take the time to converse appropriately with the person you are receiving your service from, you can learn a thing or two about them instead of coming up with a con in your head during the service. By the way, who signs up for Yelp to write a negative review when they have written one on Google under another alias? Fail.
Cindy's a very sweet and talented person, and seems very passionate about what she does. She goes above and beyond which exceeded my expectations. I would definetely recommend Cindy and look forward to my next appointment with her! -

Absolutely Horrible! I am new to the city so I looked up salons on Google reviews. I came across this salon and saw they were ranked fairly high so I decided to give them a shot. WORST mistake of my life. My joke of a stylist was "Cindy". She started out nice but as we started talking a little more I found out that she was extremely racist! Persians are apparently too stuck up and spoiled, the Chinese are "nasty and cheap, and white people are "poor".. all this coming from a Filipino. I told her several times I just wanted 2 inches cut off and my hair thinned out. My final result was hair around my EARS! Cindy is without a doubt the worst stylist I have had (I have had a few)... I paid and them wanted my money back. When I went back for my money the incredibly rude manager and Cindy said I was being rude. All I wanted was my money back for the SH*T job they did. I WILL NOT BE BACK.
