Review from Andrea T.
Norwalk, IA
I have been to Z'mariks a handful of times now, both for lunch and dinner. My verdict is always the same. Is the food good, sure. Is it great, no.
Lunch time always seems to be very busy and then dinner is much slower. I find myself struggling to find something I really want when I go. Half the time, I fall back on the Mac n cheese.
Sure they are quick and editable, just not my favorite. -

Don't buy gift certificates here, you will never get to redeem them! The food is good, love the lemon sauté, service is quick, but the last 2 times (right now in fact) I have tried to redeem my GC the computer is down.
It's the same excuse every time, our computers are not accepting gift certificates right now, sorry. So not only do they have my money from GC I also have to fork out additional money for my meal.
This is not in my neighborhood so I make a special trip to come here so its a disappointment. The food is really good but the kids eat free Saturdays can be overwhelming if not prepared.
I recommend, just make sure you bring cold hard cash!

History
Established in 2002
Z'Mariks Noodle Café was born in May 2002 in Iowa City, Iowa. Owners Dave and Ellie Allen had a dream of creating a dining destination that united fresh food with fast service for an affordable price. As Iowa natives, they embraced their roots and sought to build a family friendly business that felt like home to their customers.
