I am always greeted by friendly staff even if I am spending the smallest amount of money. The staff are knowledgeable, and very friendly. Selection is amazing, not surprising given the size of the humidor.
A must-visit for anyone who enjoys a good cigar. -

I often buy cigars for gifts for some of my older experienced cigar smoking friends.
I, however, have little to no experience about cigars. I do not know the difference between a $300 cigar and a $30 cigar. So, when I am needing to purchase a cigar for someone who is quite experienced in all that goes into smoking a cigar, I come here and do not have to worry about my purchase.
The staff are all very polite and helpful, I never feel pressured to purchase a cigar priced out of my budget, and never suggested a cigar without a thorough explanation. (Which comes in handy after the gift has been opened and I attempt to impress with a minimal amount of information that I actually absorbed..)
As well the staff is extremely attentive to their customers and I have always been approached before I need to ask for assistance. -

Zigarren allegedly has the largest walk in Humidor in Canada, they have a huge selection of course but the prices are average to high with not much between the other walk in cigar shops nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful with some good knowledge of everything cigar related.
Overall an excellent selection, the only thing stopping this place getting 5 stars is the prices! -

What makes Zigarren my number one choice for pipe tobacco shopping is the staff. While they might not have the largest selection of house blends, or a large area committed to pipes, they do treat pipe smokers extremely well. The staff's passion for service, and their inviting atmosphere, more than make up for their lack of a wide variety. A small shop with a big heart.
