I finally made my way back down to the hood and had another waffle creation from the kind folk at zexyberry, this time I had a waffle with strawberries, bananas, white chocolate and oreo cookie crumbs....again the waffle was made fresh! the fruit was tasty, and the chocolate was rich.

This thing was so delicous I almost said no to a dance with mary jane before shoveling the waffle down my mouth hole....

    almost....

I had heard about Zexyberry on Twitter, they teased me with their notion of chocolate fondue. Only problem was, they weren't open yet. Then, on Monday night, there was Zexyberry again on Twitter! And now, open to the public. "Mmm, fondue for breakfast! Are you open early?" I joked. "Yes! We open at 930," came the reply. "And we have waffles." Waffles??@#$?
    "I'll see you tomorrow morning!"

While I didn't arrive right at 930, I certainly did make it over to Sunridge mall for about 1015. And true to their tweet, I saw waffle irons. You can order in small or large. I was saving my first meal of the day for this. So I ordered a large waffle (small is just 1/2), with strawberries and dark chocolate.

I was mighty surprised at how fresh and ripe those strawberries were. Fresh fruit, yay! And the chocolate... well, it's dipping chocolate, so it was hardening on top of my waffle. LIke a chocolate dipped cone... except not a cone and no ice cream.

I wasn't a fan of the coffee. It was ok, but maybe Joel S should head on over for a visit and tell them about Fratello since he seems to be a fan.

It cost me just over $11 total for my waffle and coffee. Not something I would eat everyday, but it was a nice treat for breakfast for sure. And any place wanting to educate me on the health benefits of chocolate won't have trouble bending my ear.
