I have to say, I'm becoming a bit of a fan of Zellers.
They have some great prices and they have a bit of everything. They're like Walmart on a smaller scale. I just went there today and bough, 2 electric toothbrushes, jam, a new mop, dish detergent, 2 pairs of slippers, lip balm, and a few other items and only spent $80. That may seem like a lot but I got a lot dish detergent (90 capsules) and a very good quality mop.
My only quarrel with Zellers at this point, is the that they don't have enough tills open at busy times. When I went to purchase my items, I had to wait in 1 of 2 lines and there were about 5 people in each line. And they moved SLOW! The people working at the tills were extremely unhappy and lacking in Christmas spirit too.
I did ask a couple sales people for help while I was looking for things and they were very nice and helpful.
Overall, Zellers is A-OK.
