This is my "on the way to something else" Zellers. I find its location really convenient on Calgary Trail. I'm a Southside person, so I'm often going up and down 104 or 103 at some time during the week.
My main problem with Zellers is the same for any big box store. I'm not really a big box shopper so I never know where anything is, and I'm pretty sure that they don't make it easy so you have to walk by aisles of merchandise you have no interest in just in case it catches your eye.
I tend to buy staples here that it doesn't make sense to pay more for somewhere else. Light bulbs, soft drinks, popcorn and stuff like that. For that, Zellers, Walmart, Superstore are pretty much interchangeable in my mind.
The advantage here is that I always seem to find close parking, it's never too crowded and I'm in and out faster than navigating Superstore or the Walmart Supercentre. It's kind of like a win by default, but it's a win for Zellers regardless. -

This isn't my favourite Zellers but it's still got good stuff!
Zellers is like a lower scale Walmart. They a little bit of everything. I bought some great house cleaning stuff here (a mop, scrubbers, and soaps) for pretty good prices.
We also pick up some groceries here on occasion. They have some pretty good deals on things like toilet paper, paper towels, canned veggies, etc.
I find that the children's clothing here is pretty darn cute. I bought a bunch of Hillary Duff stuff for my friend's daughter and she loved it all!
I don't know why I don't like this location as much as other ones. It gives me a different vibe. I don't know to explain it though. But it's great to stop by if you need some groceries or a quick gift if you're passing by. They even have electronics!
Zellers a bit of everything so if you're in a pickle, you can probably find something here! They also sell pickles. -

Baba & Gido friendly but nothing special just department store diner-style food. I just go with the grilled cheese with salad instead of fries (I'm not a french fry fan and Zellers fries don't even tempt me). Service is hit and miss - sometimes good sometimes not so much - this time it was not so much.
