This place is like a ghetto Target. Turns out it's a subsidiary of HBC, though, so they carry the official 2010 Team Canada Olympic gear. After seriously striking out at 2 different locations of "The Bay" while trying to find a simple Team Canada 2010 hoodie, I came here in a last-ditch attempt to find something to take home as a souvenir.

They had a T-shirt in my size! Woo hoo! But they didn't have anything else we were looking for...

...and again, it's ghetto. And in Coquitlam.

Extremely poor customer service. I was looking for running socks and one of the Zellers staff who happened to be an old lady screamed out me with an evil eye telling me where it's located.  She must have been a real life witch. When I went to the cashier with the socks, after paying for the item, the cashier didn't say the typical "THANK YOU" when they give you the bag with the item like at most stores but  she said "You know what, no refunds or exchange on this, ok?"  I didn't even asked if it was possible but she just made me never want to shop at Zellers anymore.

    POOR  POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I swear, this place is like a trailer park.

When I first moved to Vancouver from California I was excited to check out Zellers. Blame it on those catchy commercials. They reminded me of Target, a store in the U.S. that I could spend hours in. Well, I was pretty disappointed. The thing that stands out about my visits to Zellers is the guy on the bottom floor trying to sell a genuine gold necklace and matching earrings for only $29.99 like an auctioneer to a crowd of people.
