This Zellers location is so conveniently located near my house, but I always find it very frustrating to shop here. To the point that I will drive out of my way to go to another Zellers.
Now people have asked me why I would drive to a Zellers rather then walk the two minutes to the one near my house.
Here are the reasons:
1. I am sick and tired of getting the cashiers looking at my purchases and deciding to discuss them with me. REALLY are my personal hygiene products any of your business??? and maybe if you stopped dissecting every item I'm buying we could move the line ups along a little faster. (There seems to be a reason people are shopping at Wall-Mart instead)
which brings me to Point 2
2. Why do we only have two cashiers working? seriously, why?
and it's not just on that day, it's all the time. Two if I'm lucky on the front entrance, and one leading to the mall entrance. It's ridiculous!
3. Staff, would it kill you to smile. Maybe be more approachable, helpful, something?
again, there's a reason Zellers (especially this location) is loosing business to the local Wall-Mart.
In the four years that I have lived in this area and on occasion had no choice but to shop at this location. I have only had two Zellers employees help me that seemed like they enjoyed their job or at least did a damn good job of pretending they did.
Management you may want to have a look at your store, or hire some secret shoppers to give you some feedback on customer service.
