We came across this place as it was two blocks away from our BnB. It was raining and this place seemed nice.
Inside we were greeted and seated. They realized that we don't "parler francais" they spoke to us in English.
With their cute french accents they got us some delicious wine and some uber delicious sushi. As people would say in New Jerzy, it was cash. (Am I saying that right?)
Anyway, the total was a bit pricy, but it was a damn good dinner that welcomed us to the harsh coldness they call summer here in Canada. -

Yuzu Sushi is my restaurant of choice for sushi in Quebec City. It's not a place you will remember for having melt-in-your-mouth fish, but the quality is above many of the other places I've tried here. They offer prepackaged sushi assortments from $8,50 for 8 pieces, but personally, I prefer to pick my sushi so I have them prepare my order at the counter. My favorites are the kanikama gunkan, the tamago hosomaki and the sake hosomaki, but everything I have tried tasted great.
This particular location is in a mall so I wouldn't pick it for a date, but it's inside a Holt Renfrew so the decor is nice.
2 pieces of advice:
- Visit them on Thursday evening for select sushi for $1/piece.
- Do try the dessert sushi, you won't regret it.
