    This is just one of those 'git 'er done' type things. If you're sick of the bums ripping open your clear blue bags and taking all your bottles the night before pick up or that random van that drives around and steals the whole bag in the 30secs you were in the house getting the rest of the trash, you can always bring the bottles that require a deposit to this 'Enviro Depot' where they'll refund you half your deposit. A full bag is usually a couple bucks worth of stuff. This is the closest one to the downtown and is probably more useful for SMU students than carless Dal students. The other option is to sort your recycling so the bums can just take the whole bag and then there's no curbside mess to deal with. If you choose to sort and store, be sure to rinse well and keep the bag tight or you can expect a fruit fly explosion.
