The Youth Emergency Shelter Society (YESS) of Edmonton has had their Whyte Avenue location open since 1982.
Their mission is to give youth at risk a chance. And that's exactly what they do.
They run numerous programs to help at risk youth get on the right track. They provide for these kids in a way that a lot of them have never been provided for.
They help at risk youth and they give back to the community. That's what YESS has always done and it is what they will always do.
I volunteered for YESS a while back and the staff are so friendly and caring. They truly have a heart for the work they are doing. It's wonderful.
