Victoria, BC
Yoshi's has been our sushi choice in Victoria for 20 years. We keep coming back because the food is great and the service is fast and friendly.
It is not the most imaginitive menu but there is always something I want to eat. -

Yoshi Sushi are definitely on the more expensive side for sushi, especially sushi in Victoria, but that's because they're also some of the very best.
One star off for cost, location (they're out near Gateway Village) and occasional wait time.
But I've never been disappointed or sorry I went, and have always left with a full, happy stomach, and a runny wasabi-nose. -

Amazing sushi and lunch bento boxes. A really great atmosphere and staff. For sushi and japanese food in Victoria BC, my favorite is defiinitely Yoshi Sushi.

Horrible sushi place, very unclean and they don't even use real crab meat, they use imitation crab, and I don't know who they think they're fooling.

Review from Erin R.
My boyfriend and I were in Victoria just for the weekend and decided to grab some sushi. We consider ourselves sushi connoisseurs, as we have it at least once every week at home in LA, and we have both been eating it all our lives, so generally we know good sushi. We had relatively high expectations coming here based on the great reviews, but we were sorely disappointed. We knew it would be expensive, based on what most people had said before us, but the prices are truly outrageous. The fish was mediocre, at best, the rice was dry and way too dense. The waitress was not very amiable. Quite frankly, I was angry at the amount of money we had to spend for something so inadequate. The sushi left such a bad taste in our mouths, in fact, that we later went to a pub for some brews and a few snacks, simply to get the taste out of our mouths and the memory out of our heads. I would recommend looking somewhere else if you are looking for good sushi.
