    I wish we had a Yogurtland in Ballard!

    This place beats Menchie's, Yozen, and all other FroYo places in Seattle, hands down.

    PROS:
    1. Great flavors. I usually just go for tart b/c it's the most reliable and consistent across locations. But man, every flavor here tasted amazing! I hate FroYo that tastes like it should be tart but is sweet or FroYo that should be sweet is tart. It's hard to get that ideal blend of tart and sweet in a creamy FroYo.  But Yogurtland succeeds.

    2. Taro. Nuff said. The best taro FroYo ever. Yum.

    3. Lychee! As a topping! I haven't seen that before.

    4. Nice kids behind the counter. I had already paid but forgot to put graham crackers on my FroYo. I asked him if it was okay, and he smiled and said, "Sure, I don't care! Help yourself!"

    Such a great place to get your FroYo on.

    Yogurtland has some tasty FroYo!  I love the tart flavors...i always gravitate towards them.  I love that the store is bright and light, there's a bit of room in the store to move around, as well as to sit and enjoy your creation, and they provide free water!  I know that sounds silly, but FroYo can give me a serious thirst.  They always have quite the variety of flavor options for the yogurt, and they have a great toppings bar.

    Tasty, tasty stuff!

    I think I've made a YG review for every location in WA hahah!

    This is my favorite store of all.  There is free parking and it is never stupid packed like Cap Hill...and they still stay open late!!

    I don't really gotta say much, but Yogurtland is the shit...okayyyyyy

    Yogurtland is amazing! Flavors are wonderful (I recommend sticking with the tart flavors.) They have an abundance of toppings. As kind of a bonus, they usually have strawberry water (water with strawberries soaking in it) to drink.

    Price is another plus for Yogurtland. For the vast majority of people, you'll easily be under $5 for even a large bowl of yogurt goodness.

    This is a pretty new location for Yogurtland. I was able to come over here after Fremont Sunday market in a Sunny day. Even though I took a bus and walked here, I still appreciated the parking in front of the store. This Yogurtland is located in Wallingford on 45th. It's a very convenient location.

    The flavor wise, there are not as many as the Yogurtland in Capitol Hill. But, for the size of the store, it's more than enough. When I walked to the fruit bar, they were out of fresh strawberry. But, it was filled within 2 mins. I was able to get my regular.

    Yes, my regular! I am a boring person. I always get plain yogurt with strawberry, coconut flakes, and some nuts. And, I love what I choose! :-) 35 cents per oz, pretty good deal! This time I was able to only pay $6 for mine.

    Parking + clean store front + great options of frozen yogurt and topping! If you live in the area, you should totally come here and give it a try!

    I truly enjoy this place.

    Frozen yogurt is not that great to me as I am not a huge fan of it. I can take it or leave it as it is.

    However,  one day I went in and was impressed by the amount of toppings they offered, and the toppings seal the deal for me. Fruit, candy, cookies, sprinkles, nuts, beans, syrup: they have whatever floats your frozen yogurt individualized personhood.

    It was enough to keep this not-a-big-fan-of frozen yogurt returning.

    The staff have always been friendly (always, ALWAYS an important thing to me because I do have options to go elsewhere) and the place is clean.

    And it is a little thing, but the water cooler with the strawberries floating around in it...nice touch.

    Fro-yo girl here. This newish YL probably has the most Seattle feel of any Yogurtland location because it's right next to a teriyaki restaurant, Teriyaki Madness. Only in Seattle!

    This location has 16 self-serve fro-yo flavors a day and lots of toppings (21 dry toppings like candy, Yogurtland sprinkles, nuts, cereal, mochi, cookies; 18 refrigerated toppings - fresh fruit, popping boba, red beans, cheesecake bites, brownies; syrups) for 35 cents an ounce. I was impressed by the variety of fresh fruit, including grapes, cantaloupe, honeydew and watermelon. The fruit looked and tasted fresh.

    Fro-yo flavors of the day:
    * Plain tart: great balance between creamy and icy, tart in a pleasant way
    * Tangerine: soft, icy, nice tart citrusy flavor, sweet aftertaste http://www.yelp.com/bi...
    * Toasted coconut
    * Mango mixer tart
    * French vanilla
    * Yo frappe: no sugar added, really good, smooth, not too sweet combination of coffee and caramel
    * Double cookies n' cream
    * Dutch chocolate
    * Red velvet cupcake batter
    * Fresh strawberry
    * NY cheesecake
    * Pistachio
    * Kona coffee
    * Vanilla wafer
    * Taro (Glen G's flavor)
    * PB & J

    An associate offered sample cups. The sign at the register said you get free fro-yo on your b-day (yay). Saved my Yogurtland spoon as usual. I wanted to take the Yogurtland doormat home with me.

    You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

    Its so nice to see a frozen yogurt shop in Seattle, and right up the street from my house! If someone didn't think of it soon, I was going to open shop myself! The yogurt here is just as good as icecream, maybe even better because the calories are significantly less!

    Top flavors: Pistachio, Cupcake Batter, and Double Cookies and Cream

    Love this place.  My favorite part is that the Yogurtland staff doesn't stop you from sampling any/all of the flavors with their tiny sample cups.  I easily get a full serving of yogurt just from sampling them all... and then of course I buy a massive bowl of it and eat way too much.  The toppings are good too, but I usually just stick to the yogurt because I don't want anything distracting my mouth from the real reason I'm there.  My boyfriend, however, takes great pride in building a structural foundation of candy bar bits and strategically-placed cookies. We're talking serious works of art.  In fact, he made one and left it for me in our freezer for Valentines Day.

    Yogurtland does a few things really well.  The aforementioned sample-tasting, the sugar-free/non-fat/low-fat options, and the cheap price per ounce all somehow negate any guilt I may feel after eating enough frozen yogurt to feed a small country.

    It's a bit worrying how much I crave Yogurtland yogurt.  I found a coupon on my windshield yesterday for buy one get one free at Yogurtland and now I can't stop thinking about it.  I've also made sporadic, abrupt turns on 45th into the Yogurtland parking lot, scaring the shit out of any passengers in my car.  I really can't help it.

    I had heard amazing things about how much better Yogurtland was from the rest, and must say I was very disappointed in this store. Granted, I visited on one of the warmest days of the year; however, management could have easily looked at the weather forecast and staffed accordingly.

    Some of the major pitfalls to my visit were:

    -Several machines had the red light flashing indicating low levels of yogurt.
    -Two of the toppings were empty (Strawberries and a small white beaded ball thing had only like two left)
    -A cashier who did not make any conversation other then business essential items (total, payment options)
    -Staff members who did not make any eye contact with any guests
    -A tip jar. (Sorry, but if you are not going to provide any guest service, and the guest has to do all the work expect pay , why should you expect to receive a tip?)
    -The design of the store is also horrible. A glass wall divider requires you to go through a single line from entrance to payment. Challenges here are you cant see what flavors they have down the line if it is busy. In addition, this creates bottle necks and should a guest with disabilities need though (or even a parent with stroller), it would prevent this from happening. Sure they make legally have the proper ADA clearance; however, it is not with barriers when you factor guests getting yogurt, which is a part of their business model)
    -They dont accept American Express as payment.

    The positives-

    -Well it is frozen yogurt on a hot day for a reasonable price, yea to that.
    -Water is provided at the side that is flavored, oddly enough with strawberries which they dont even fill at the topping bar...

    Overall though, with all the yogurt competition in Seattle, it is unexusabable not to have outstanding service and work to be a step above the rest. Sadly, I will not return to Yogurtland because of this impression.

    *Added, very shortly after posting my Yelp, received an email from the area manager about my experience. I appreciate this as it shows the area manager is involved in the stores and wants to ensure guests have a good experience when things do not go right at first. This contact did not change my initial review though, but it is appreciated.

    Ask for the ingredient list when you visit.

    My review from the Capitol hill location. This is closer to my house!! I am even more addicted! Hopeless, hopeless me. Consenting to self-inflicted hyperglycemia more times than I'll admit.

    Sugar. Toppings. More healthy than ice cream. Good bacteria for your belly. Ya ya.

    I see people saying "ohh, it's not that good." WHAT planet am I living on!!!????

    Resisting more than a weekly splurge here. Open kinda late too.

    I wrote a mediocre review of Yogurtland last week, which you can read below. Five days after I did, I received a Yelp message in which Mike Wallace, the area manager for the company, personally apologized for having not fully satisfied me as a customer or the staff itself as a team seeking to achieve excellence. In an age where many businesses create fake users to give themselves artificially positive reviews to compensate for poor ones or reply with rude remarks, Yogurtland's management thought to personally contact an individual customer just to say sorry and that they hope I will return.

    For this rare show of person-ness, I definitely will.

    In my reply to Mr. Wallace, I made sure to let him know that the staff of the Wallingford store were very helpful and friendly. The toppings bar, like the rest of the store, was kept very clean. Overall my experience was a positive one, so I am writing this followup review to make up for my previous one and reflect that.

    Thanks Yogurtland!

    I love this place! Lots of flavor options and great toppings and opportunity to sample! Staff are sometimes really nice or blah but who cares?!

    Good to know: the free Pirq app I have on my android lets you reserve % off coupons for Yogurtland if you know you're going to go there sometime that day or the next. You can sometimes get 50% off through it!

    I absolutely love yogurtland. I recently moved to Seattle from Orange County and was so excited that yougurtlands were opening up in Seattle! When you are watching your calories, this is the perfect treat. The staff is always friendly. The store is always clean and tidy. Oh, yea, and the frozen yogurt is always delicious!

    [sob] Yogurtland I love you. But you are making me fat. Because frozen yogurt once or twice a week is no big deal, but FIVE NIGHTS IS A BIG DEAL. I cannot NOT get the cookie dough so stop serving that if you care about me at all. And those little mochi are gelatinous balls of awesomeness.

    I love you.

    Love Coming here because it is way less busy than the shop on the ave, and it is a lot bigger. It is super fun to mix flavors and make your own creation and at only $0.35/oz it is a good deal.
    The only downside is they don't have as many flavor options as the university district store plus the area by the yogurt machines get cramped if there are more than 5 people. But all in all it is a fun place to go and super delish!!

    Finally open! We live a few blocks away and have been watching the progress. Today is the official grand opening and we were there when they opened. Great staff, great product but the interior design is a little annoying. There is a big glass wall cramming everyone in tight again the yogurt wall. Not as spacious as it should be. They should check out Zoë to see how to do it.

    Yum.

    First you put one (or more) of about 10 flavors of frozen yogurt in a cup, then you can add toppings (fruits and candy). Everything is great and the best part is, you pay by WEIGHT ($.35/oz)

    So if you just want a little, you just pay a little. If you want to pig out, you can do that too. So it can be much cheaper than the other ice cream options on 45th, and much healthier (most of the yogurt is only 30 calories an once). Obviously you can make things extremely unhealthy with the toppings...

    Store is clean and well lit, and employees are friendly. What else do you need?
