      5 stars as always!

Miss Jennie Marshall outdoes herself every year?

Who else can close down the Royal Alberta Museum for a private party? Only Miss Jennie Marshall can!

There is no way I can possible recount all the amazing goodness so here are a few of my faves:

Burrito Libre kicked off the night with a taco/burrito bar from heaven - mmm... Chicken, salsa, guac, cheese, hot sauce? Need I say more?

Next up, I tried Chloe wine from California-I-A! Divine - sweet - soft - and just right!

The Cheesecake Cafe served up HUGE slices of cheesecake on a stick - in their super cute cheesecake bicycle-mobile!

Carol from Carol's Sweets served up an assortment of sugary goodness including in house handmade chocolates!

Chef Dave was serving up 10 cheese Macaroni & Cheese from Zinc! (You may have recently seen him on Chopped Canada!)

Cha Island Tea served up all kinds of refreshing iced tea goodness! Roiboos is always a favourite in our house!

Feel Fabulous Mobile Spa did on the spot manicures! What a treat! I feel totally glammed out now :-)

El Cortez was making their guacamole and serving it up with house fried tortilla chips with a pork rind and hot sauce!

The Organic Box handed out fruit, of course :-)

Little Italy & Graziano served up a mini meatball slider with 100% Alberta beef and homemade sauce!

Yellowhead Brewery was on site dishing out their liquid gold!

Icon salon was doing all kinds of crazy awesomeness including eye brow waxing! I managed to get my husband to have his eyebrows waxed for the first time by Amelia and she did a fabulous job!

The Melting Pot was making chocolate dipped strawberries on site!

Call the Kettle Black was on hand displaying the hippest kitchen gadgets around!

Redefined Health had free chair massages and posture analyses! I managed to snag a chair massage from Amy and she was fab!

Prive Ultralounge kept the party going with the Booze Luge!

Cravings Artisan Gelato had a whole Gelato stand with unbelievable flavours like mojito and blueberry basil! I managed to steal flavours from almost everyone in our group :-)

DoubleTree by Hilton was handing out their signature chocolate chip walnut cookies (If you stay with them, they are always warm on hand!)

Of course, Alley Kat, was on hand serving up locally crafted beer!

Knife works was on hand giving super nifty demos of proper knife techniques!

Chapman's Cake was on hand serving ice cream truffle cake with fresh fruit!

Hoang Long handed out take-home macaroons!

Grizzly Paw served up non-alcoholic Ginger Beer :-)

Eva Sweet spoiled us with hot waffles!

The Silk Road Merchant was sampling spices served on popcorn! (We are so lucky that they have opened a store in Edmonton!)

Tito's handmade vodka was super smooth over ice!

Paddy's Cheese totally stole the show with the rolled cinnamon and cranberry goat cheese - SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!

And let's not forget that Red Arrow oh so kindly shuttled Yelpers to and from the party and provided water!

The FRAMS (Friends of the Royal Alberta Museum) put on a fun selfie picture scavenger hunt with cool giveaways!

I loved exploring the museum and meeting new Yelpers! The creepy crawly bug exhibit is always squirmy fun!

Cool Yelp Schwag giveaways were available in the Science Zoned and staffed by our fabulous Elites!

It was a phenomenal night - I know I missed some of the businesses but there was too much goodness to take it all in!

Thanks for another phenomenal year Yelp!

Wow! What an impressionable first Yelp party for me! Jennie and the rest of the Yelp ambadassors really helped pull off a wonderful, fun and very local food & vendor event, in a unique and historic building to boot!

With a huge array of businesses representing their fares, i wasn't able to experience all of them through the night, but highlights for me were the delicious gourment, chocolate dipped strawberries from the melting pot; the homemade meatball sandwich from Littly Italy, the drool-worthy mini burrito from Burrito Libre and the excellent guacamole from El Cortez!

My friends and I found the upstairs way more fun... mostly from the sounds of old school hip hop being blared from the cutest DJ ever! (Dj Shorty)! We were having so much fun that we started a little dance party in front of her table at one point of the night.

It was great to have free reign over the exhibits in this after hours event. It's been much too long since I've visited the Royal Alberta Museum. I'm sad that this is their last summer in this beautiful building... but excited at the same time to see what the new museum will hold! I'm curious to see what will happen to this building once they eventually move everything over (I hear this will take around 4 years to accomplish)

I'm so thankful for being an Elite member as we were able to skip the long lineups at 6:30 when we arrived.

The only hiccup of the night was before the event, when my friends and I were waiting for the Red Arrow shuttle bus that was supposed to pick up downtown guests from Winspear at 7pm. It was a no show. So after paying for parking for the evening, we had to rush back to my car to end up driving to the RAM after all so I could make it in time for my volunteering shift!

      Wow. Just wow.
I have never been to a Yelp event. This was my first. I'm speechless! What an electric group of people! The samples of beer and booze, snacks and samples, coupons and draws, I felt like a total winner. What a great way to showcase business in Edmonton. I am a huge fan of the flavored tea (I'll be damn sure to redeem that coupon), the popcorn seasoning, cheesecake on a stick (I'm glad I walked around to burn some calories but soooo worth it) and apricot champagne sorbetto. I wish I would have met some more neighborhood Yelpers but I'll be sure to start introducing myself. I can't wait to see what other events Yelp has! What a great time!
Oooo! I just found a cookie in my bag.
Pardon me while I eat this.
      Cheers!!!

      I had a BLAST!

It was a great party with lots of fanastic Vendors.
I found new places to visit for shopping (call the kettle black), different restaurants, and local organic produce that deliver!

I can't wait to checkout what new businesses are out there.

The museum was great fun to look and walk around, I haven't been here since I was in elementary school. The staff was incredible, very polite and helpful.

What a spectacular event, Hats off to Jennie for organizing this!

      Nothin' but 5 stars here!

Yet another fantastic event put together by Jennie and the Yelp crew. The Red Arrow shuttle from downtown was a great bonus, given the bridge construction. I opted to drive due to time restraints, but it was appreciated by everyone I spoke with who had taken it!

Check in process was quick and pain free. I too was confused by the raffle. Last year, I'm pretty sure we had to physically write our names down for it when we gave our donations. This year, there was nothing to fill out, so I had to go back and check with the ladies working the check in table, and was told that all attendees were entered whether they donated or not. I'm happy to make a donation either way, but it was just a little confusing.

Right inside the door were Burrito Libre and Red Piano. Red Piano offered my favourite dish of the evening. It was a bison pate with capers on a house made potato chip. The girls there were really friendly and encouraged us to check out the dueling pianos on our next date night. Which I think I might!

For beverages, hands down, my favourite was Tito's vodka. I was fortunate enough to get to sample their product at the Yelp party at Provincial a few months ago and I am definitely a fan! When I was in the states this summer, I noticed Tito's on a lot of shelves, but haven't encountered it much in Canada. I definitely hope that changes soon!

Paddy's was offering up some delicious goat cheese samples. One of which was cranberry cinnamon. When I mentioned that I don't care for cinnamon (don't hate me!), the lady was quick to offer me the cranberry goat cheese that had not yet been sprinkled with the cinnamon. HOORAY! man was that ever good.

I worked the crowd at the Yelp swag table for about 20 minutes and it was SO great to get to meet so many yelpers!

I got to the venue at about 6:55, and was surprised to recognize very few elites in line with me. I hope to see more of you at future events!

With that, I tip my hat to our fearless leader Jennie!

Another amazing and successful Yelper party, thanks to our fantastic CM Jennie! We arrived just a few minutes into the elite hour and the party was already in full swing. I really liked that it was at the museum this year, since the museum is relocating soon and this is the last summer at the old location. A good way to celebrate it and say goodbye before its next chapter!

It was great to experience the venue as an evening party with fellow Yelpers. I don't mind kids usually, but it's always nice when it's an adults only event. I mean, who's going to complain that there's no kids? I always enjoy the main floor exhibits the best, the ones with the animals behind the glass. The gems exhibit is always fun too, especially seeing the ones that glow in the dark.

Great mix of local food vendors and small businesses around town. There were people getting their nails and eyebrows did, and getting massages while others lined up for tasty treats. There was always a line for the Lexus photo-booth. The photo scavenger hunt was a great idea to make things really interactive too!

For the food, my favourites were 1) the rum strawberry gelato from Cravings Gelato, 2) the meatball slider from Little Italy Pasta and 3) the guac and chips from El Cortez. Cheesecake Cafe gave out enormous slices of cheesecake on a stick and Melting Pot had delicious chocolate-covered strawberries. Now that I think about it, I had a lot of dessert last night. In full disclosure, I am also munching on my leftover Double Tree choco-chip cookie as I write this, because I like to pretend the party's still going.

For bevvies, my favourite was Cha Island. A nice refreshing drink for the hot weather! The lychee jasmine tea was perfect and others seemed to agree cause that one ran out first. I enjoyed the tea so much I went back for a second try :) Alley Kat is also an old favourite.

Another fantastic event for the whole Yelp YEG community, so much fun and already looking forward to next year's! Thanks Jennie, for all you do for us, we really are lucky to have you as our CM :)

This was an AWESOME event! There were vendors EVERYWHERE and the museum was open to us!

Of special note is how Jennie pulled together groups affected by the bridge closure -- getting a special area for High Street merchants, and organising the whole shindig at the RAM. This sort of community building is GREAT to see!

      1 Word: A-MAZ-ING

This was one of my first Yelp events and let me tell you: it was incredible! Coming into the event I wasn't sure what to expect but it blew my mind!! There was so many great local spots offering samples of food and beverages (El Cortez, Zinc, Cheesecake Cafe, Yellowhead brewing - to name a small few)
In addition to all the amazing food and drinks there was also so much to do! You could check out the museum exhibits, get a manicure, get your brows waxed, take pictures in a photobooth and so much more.
The event was 2 hours long but I could have easily stayed for another 2 just to get everything in! WOW WOW WOW
Big props to Jennie at Yelp for organizing this event. What an amazing night!

Great night for Edmonton! The Night at the Royal Alberta Museum was a blast, I hadn't been there since I was a kid.

With over 40 things to see, I was stuck running around trying to see it all.
Some of my personal highlights were getting cool black nails done during the elite when the girls at Feel Fabulous Mobile spa were just sitting around waiting for some nails to work on, and playing STREET FIGHTER!

I also got a cool picture from MOJO!

Loved it. Loved It . Ample free parking, no problems with the check in physically or online.

3 cheers for Jennie Marshall and her tireless team of brand ambassadors! Hip Hip Hooray!

DARN YOU T-REX! This is not what they meant by a tasting event!

Jennie does it again! What a fantic event celebrating local businesses, food and drink in a beautiful, historic building. Seeing as the Royal Alberta Museum is relocating soon, it was amazing to experience it in its current location one last time with the Yelp community. Events like this are an awesome chance to chat with other Yelpers, introduce others to Yelp and meet up with friends. Getting to experience restaurants that will soon be featured at Taste of Edmonton, breweries showing their stuff and see the great local businesses was awesome in the amazing Royal Alberta Museum.
Thank you so much to Jennie, the Royal Alberta Museum and all of the vendors for making this all possible!

      Swag!
