Without getting too cliche, I would like to thank all the participants for being so wonderful and cheerful and lively!  I would like to thank the staff at White Spot for doing such an amazing feat by catering to our needs and eventually understanding our requirements for this event to happen as well as making the "ice cream" offering a nice surprise at the end.  The bubble gum (although i didn't have any...I chickened out) was a blast!  Raymond had Blue teeth!! ROFL.

And especially to Crystal in all her Yelpiness for pulling this CMYE together and making it happen!  Eye Patches and all!

Great to see some faces who haven't been there in awhile.
I had the Roma burger and it was pretty good.  I think it even tasted better in the pirate pack!  Something about visual presentation!  You eat with your eyes first!
Loved the Spot salad and enjoyed the conversation and trivia overall!
Great to meet some new faces.  Hope to see more of you out there soon!  Maybe Ramen? Congee? Fondue?????

And not only have we proven that the Pirate packs are good for kids.  They're Grrreaaatt! for Adults too!

    AHOY!! Yelping pirates unite!!

Thanks Crystal for organizing another great event!!

Equipped with eye patches, pirate hats, and YELP! bandanas, we were out to conquer the White Spot!! This brought me back to my childhood days for sure!

We ordered from the regular menu, and our food arrived in the cute Pirate Paks!! Kinda wished we actually got to order from the kids menu though..Missing from the pirate pak was the kids sized drink, but it did come with the gold coin!! Bonus also goes to the ice cream!! (Bubblegum flavour too!)

We got great service even though we were a large group, our waters were always filled, food came in an efficient manner.

Had a very fun night being a pirate for the night!!

Yelp events are always pretty fun, you get to meet new people and talk about random things to bridge the stranger factor, except you're not really strangers because you've already lurked around their reviews and pictures. I enjoyed seeing people I haven't seen in awhile as well as people I have never seen before. What I wished was that we weren't seated at a stationary position so we could mingle more but hey, whaddaya gonna do, its a restaurant. Samantha our server was very friendly and pleasant. She was super duper. By the time my chocolate ice cream came around, I almost felt a bit nostalgic of my childhood. Mmm chocolate.. and beer...
    Happy Birthday Crystal.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me! It was good to meet some new faces last night at White Spot, and keep the other tables guessing what we were up to! Yes, it was a Pirate Pak party!

I got myself a bellini, which was not quite a Cactus Club "better than sex" bellini, but it helped cure my awkwardness a wee bit. I would have preferred another three rounds, but this seemed like more of a family restaurant than I am used to, and I certainly didn't want to get drunk and make a fool of myself at Crystal's birthday party in front of all her friends!

I got myself the veggie burger for my Pak, and added some cheese and mushrooms to it, for an extra $2 or so. It was a pretty decent veggie burger, and I got some basil aioli dip for my fries, which was super garlicky and yummy. The BF showed up late and got some zoo sticks, which are much better than the skinny ones at Hamburger Mary's that I had on the weekend.

Thanks to Crystal for organizing the event and hooking us up with eye patches and Yelp bandannas! I was able to wear my pirate hat without feeling like the only person that dressed up! Looking forward to another Yelp adventure!

Awesome event, as most Yelp events are! I would have had a lot more fun if I wasn't coming down with a cold in the process...

Big thanks to Crystal for organizing this event for her 3/4 birthday mark and a huge thank you and kudos to our server (whose name I didn't get :-( ) for keeping track of all of our orders seamlessly with such enthusiasm!

Minus one star simply because I didn't think the mac and cheese would be pricier than a burger.  And also, for people who didn't click "I'm IN" on the event page so Crystal had underestimated the reservation, and then we all had to adjust the tables around to fit every one.  I love a large group and large party just like the next person, but it's great to be prepared for it.  Poor Crystal!

Otherwise, an awesome event.  Great turn out! It was fun to see everyone! Next time, I hope to not be so ill.

As a newbie to Yelp and the community, I was a bit nervous about attending an event and feeling like the odd man out. Thankfully, those fears were squashed right away. The Yelp community is so welcoming and friendly!

Kudos to Crystal for organizing such a big group and convincing White Spot to hold her "birthday" there. It was very nostalgic to get the Pirate Pak complete with gold coin. Even nicer that they threw in the ice cream at the end...sadly sans styrofoam cup, but we're adults after all...and environmentally friendly!.

I'm looking forward to more Yelp events!
