I still can't figure out if XS Cargo is supposed to be a discount store or a liquidation place. Their wares are some of the most eclectic and random. You can buy things from pots and pans to HDMI cables to batteries to hoses. It's like a more ghetto version of Canadian Tire, but with a larger selection of consumer electronics.
Parking is available directly out front in the lot. I've never seen it full.
One thing I really like about them is the warranty you can buy. You can get 1 or 2 years (depends on the product) protection for your product. Sure you can get this at other places, but here you really do need it because the stuff breaks down all the freaking time. However, I've used my warranty several times, and each time the product was replaced no questions asked.1 Previous Review: Show all »

XS Cargo is exactly what it sounds like. It's a nice warehouse filled with piles of cheap junk.

HIT OR MISS with mostly Misses.
Here you find brand names and deals from brands you never even heard of.
RANDOM, DISORGANIZED, MESSY, POOR QUALITY.
The Richmond XS Cargo is much better! I went into the Grandview location and found it to be an utter dump! -

Mom always told me that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. As it turns out, that defeats the purpose of Yelp.
I was brought here by a co-worker while we were searching for prizes to buy for our office's social committee. She insisted that we'd be able to pick up things that people would really like at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, she was wrong.
I'm really not sure where to start. I felt dirty when I was in this store. DIRTY. The place is a fluorescent lit warehouse-style building that sells knockoff, cheaply-made products. Aisle after aisle of absolute junk. They sell everything from kitchen gadgets to automotive supplies, electronics to children's toys -all of it destined to be in the Vancouver garbage dump within a year. Thankfully, the other co-workers I was with recognized this too, and we didn't purchase any "prizes" here.
When I got home from work that day, I hopped right in the shower. I just felt like I needed to keep washing myself à la Lady MacBeth. Unclean... UNCLEAN!Listed in: Vancouver Crapulence

If you have ever been to an XS Cargo you know that it's a bit messy and cluttered but one can sometimes find a good deal on a few refurbished items.
I like that you can find little things for the house without giving up and arm and a leg but it's definitely not the best quality all of the time. The consumer really has to pick and choose where they want to spend their money. The cost - benefit analysis of the discounted price.Listed in: Retail Therapy, On the cheap!, Home Improvement

I simply have to disagree with the original reviewed. XSCargo is amazing. I was hesitant when my wife took me here. We needed a new computer chair and had looked at Staples etc. for one but I was shocked at the prices that they were asking for. I was thinking Craigslist but she insisted that she check this place out.
Best idea ever!
We got a great faux leather chair, executive style, with extended head support on wheels for under $70.
The only thing about the place is that it's hit and miss when you go in. They always have different products coming in and you might get lucky or you might go away empty handed (think Winners). Generally though you'll find the product that you want at well under any price you've seen elsewhere.
They also have a pretty good exchange policy. You can return within 30 days for store credit for any defect and within 1 week for any reason. That means that you're not getting your money back but it's still pretty fair.
I'd recommend this place for any number of items. My thoughts include chairs, tables, linen kitchen accessories, even toys for children were abundant when we went.
Happy shopping! -

A tire fire has more quality than this dump. An amazing collection of garbage. I doubt some of this stuff would pass a csa test.
