A disclaimer: This rating is for the company itself, not the individual movers.
Here is a little snippet from my experience:
R: Hi its Renee, I am just calling to confirm that you will be here tomorrow at noon to move my stuff?
XM: Oh,really?? Tomorrow? What time?
R: Noon. Remember? I confirmed with you a few days ago even?
XM: Oh, Ok. You want 1 mover and a truck right?
R: No. I want 2 movers and no truck.
XM: Oh. Hmmmm.
R: Hello?
XM: Ok, Ok,
R (inside voice): "If I wouldn't have called, if they actually remembered miraculously to show up, I would have ended up with a gorilla, a piece of string, and one mover to move all my stuff from 1 house to the next. At least the gorilla would have been entertaining"
The guy called to say they would be 1/2 hour late. They showed up 1.5 hours late. One guy who showed up sort of knew what he was doing. But not really. The other guy was so bright and positive and happy and a hard worker. HE should have his own moving company - I would have hired him any day.
Also, they added a travel fee that I was not aware of and even though they worked for 3 hours and 35 minutes, they charger me for 4. Lots of people have mixed experiences with movers, but this one was scary enough to compel me to write about it.
