X-citement Video will more than likely destroy all the illusions you have about sex shops. It's not a sleazy den of depravity, hell, you could probably take grandma into this place...as long as she's not wearing her glasses.
The girl who was working here when I ventured in was really cool. My initial awkward reservations quickly disappeared as she told me about the store and what the big selling items were (I won't spoil that surprise for you).
The most striking thing about her was her professionalism. People can be really weird when talking about sex and sexuality, but I really felt at ease in this place, which was pretty cool.
I didn't leave with anything, but I found out there are some absolutely ridiculous items available out there for the adventurous!
Definitely check this store out! Have fun! Play safe! Don't get pregnant! -

Excitement Video is a good place to go to get you talking about, thinking about or simply having more sex. Although this catchy Salt-n-Pepa song wasn't playing during my visit today (Angel by Sarah McLachlan was - for real), I couldn't help but be reminded that sex isn't just a one flavor for all kind of deal and that there are different strokes for different folks (pun intended).
I saw simulators for men and women, toys of all different shapes, sizes and girths, as well as magazines and games. Not to mention the extremely well-rounded assortment of flicks for rent or for purchase, including some very specific fetish categories.
Why not spice up your sex life by indulging your senses in the plethora of goods available at Excitement Video? And if you're ever feeling plagued by idle time, fret no more, some of the videos available even have riveting plot-lines.Listed in: Random Fun, Mention Sex

X-Citement doesn't extend the most welcoming of outdoor appearances. With its black curtains hung behind display windows and overstated door sign-- "Must be 18 and Older"-- there is something deviant about this place before stepping foot inside. Will I be interrogated upon entry? Is there even any natural light? Why do they need those black curtains in the windows? What the heck is going on in there!
It all became too much during a sunny Quinpool stroll, and my curiosity caught the best of me. As I pushed my flimsy notions aside, the inner roost of X-Citement did not reveal itself as I had envisioned. Do tell? Of course...
This place is Venus Envy turned up a notch, and a bit smaller. Instead of a bulk of books, there are videos. A healthy attitude towards sex and fetishes is dually noted, as well as a true sense of professionalism. Its not exactly what I'd expected to see behind these thick black curtains.
Lots of gear for getting down and dirty. Experimenting is encouraged! For those needing a little spice in their lives... X-Citement is here. Of course I blush just a little bit, but the service is friendly and the overall feel of the place is extremely positive.
If you are curious-- go. Do not surcome to the initial intimidation of door signs and dive-esque exterior. X-Citement is a place to accommodate new sexual adventures and maybe provoke a few more. Prow Prow.Listed in: Sexxy Times

Recently I popped into XCitement Video, a sex shop on Quinpool Road that I walk by every day and am always curious about. I finally figured there was no time like the present to have a peep inside and see what was behind the covered storefront.
It actually took a little psyching up before I was able to get up the nerve. After convincing myself that this was in the name of yelping I took a deep breath and marched forward. I have to say I was pretty blown away at how comfortable I was in here once I went inside. I don't know what I was expecting, decadence? debauchery? Instead what I saw was a well laid out store with a shockingly sweet girl behind the counter.
The store has a rental section that has all the greatest hits and a whole bunch of toys, accessories, enhancers and costumes. This would actually be a great spot to shop for a Halloween costume! I had a chat with the sales clerk about some of the things they had for sale. I'm not going to go into detail about what I learned, but let's just say you can do somethings with their wares that are absolutely shocking.
What I appreciated about this store was their professionalism. The bottom line is that sex is something people do and if they feel like experimenting with it they should. It's important to have a place like this where they can go and not feel like a deviant or a pervert or degenerate. This store is clean, well planned and has really helpful and frank staff. Those of you who are looking to spice up your love life should probably check this place out. -

XCitement Video like Laura said from the outside is not the most inviting store but I understand they have to keep underage eyes out. I remember walking by in high school almost giggling at the thought of what it in there. Now I walk in and giggle.
Joking, I love this store. I like just going in and looking at all the gadgets and gizmo's for both men and woman to see what is the latest fashions. Not only do they have toys that would make your wildest dreams come true for both you and your partner they have things that are available for private pleasure. Normally ranging now depending on the size etc from $29.99 and up.
Movies for days and there is two floors of them to go through. Not only do they have toys and movies there is a wide variety of massage oils and lotions, powders as well that will enhance the flavour of the play.
Don't be embarrassed by these locations try it someday you might be surprised! -

XCitement Video, most people tend to walk by. I guess we do not want to be seen going into such a store. Well, I am not sure why, it is a natural act we all do, Sex, whether you are looking to spice up things, or just go wild for a night or two. You will be able to get the right materials here.
The store is rather small but you will find hidden treasures and lots of excitement here. I find the staff friendly and knowledgeable with all the different attire you can acquire here. It really is a fun spot.
XCitement Video will take you up a notch or two for sure!
