I dont even want to tell anyone about how amazing it is at wya point because i want to keep it my little secret! Last week we spent one night in one of their new yurts... The only bad thing i could say is that we only had one night there.... Wish we could have stayed longer.

Very nicely kept campgrounds on First Nations land. Sites are close but separated by trees, and most have amazing views of the ocean and all have firepits. It's a very quiet area and we fell asleep to the sounds of crashing waves. Easy access to the beach. New bathrooms with flush toilets are well maintained and clean.
Reservations can be made at the Wya Visitor Center or at the Wya Surf Shop (great service all around), but make sure you ask for one of the sites that face the ocean, there are about four sites that aren't so ideal because they are pushed back into the trees with no view. A bit pricey for a campsite at $35 (otherwise they'd get 5 stars) though I think that's pretty standard for this area. They were building yurts when we left, should be ready any day now for renting. -

Breathtaking new campgrounds. Near to the beach, and ears distance of the waves. This new campground has a walk-to beach area, bathrooms also walking distance, and a running tap water station. Absolutely amazing treed campground, so let's keep it clean people! I want to visit a well kept campground next year.
