Bowling is one of those things that you do once a year with your friends because no one could think of anything else to do. Bowling is a very good group activity because there is a lot of downtime which theoretically should be used to converse with your friends although I usually try to psych them out. World Bowl is one of the nicest bowling alleys to which I've ever been. Now you may be saying "But Mike, come on bowling alleys are all pretty much dirty holes" and you'd be right, but now imagine what a bowling alley of the twenty first century would look like, and if that twenty first century alley was actually cleaned on a regular basis then you would have World Bowl. The alleys are clean and the really cool thing is that the score board tells you where you should throw the ball to pick up the spare. I would recommend World Bowl to all those people hanging around on a Friday night pondering the eternal question "what do you want to do tonight?"

Bowling anyone?!
Cosmic Bowling? Disco Music?
World Bowl just did a renovation so the facilities are up to date and the washrooms are nice and clean.
Rental Shoes for $3 are quite clean and in good condition. Max of 6 people per lane, I hope someone would have let me know....
Great specials on certain time $18.88 per hour lane rental for sure is a good deal...Maybe I need to come back and practice and brush up my bowling skills!
Staffs though were a little indifferent..... Meh....Listed in: Yelp 30 Day Challenge November…

Bowling Options are not plentiful at all considering the population of York Region.
Bowling establishments have not changed in the last decade or more here.
World Bowl it is to do a mid-crawl sweatfest and as you know it...
All other people come here too, why? Like I said before, this is reliable existing locale.
Within the late evening Cosmic Disco lighting I ran up to the counter to ask for lanes.
Only 1 left, I zoned dude out and told him hurry it up and open the lane already.
Each lane can play 6 persons but under the conditions I don't think I cared.
Get us playing better than going home which is what happened afterwards anyways.
Rental Shoes($3.00) - The whole get a Token at the Token machine first crap.
I'm not a routine bowling by any means so splitting the $30+/- per hour wasn't bad.
The inhouse Bowling Balls are crap and shows the age of this place...
But then most Bowling Alleys I've been to are worst if not equal. -

Probably the best place to go bowling uptown. $3 to rent shoes, appx $27/hour (with tax) to rent a lane and the best part? They have a liquor license ($5 for domestic bottle, $5.50 for import) and are open till 4 a.m. on the weekends (or on Friday anyways haha)!
Go at night where they have their "disco" music - fun dance / house music - and turn on their black lights and neon lights and light up the whole bowling alley (including your white shirt!). Place is well maintained and clean and staff are okay. -

Their computer is around 3 minutes ahead of regular clocks. They overcharge us by $3 when we paid at percisely 8pm because to them, their clock is 8:03pm.. which I think is really dishonest. And when I tell them that it's not right, they just said, well, next time tell us earlier. I would've been a happy customer if they just refunded us the $3 but since they're just a bunch of greedy people who don't care about customer service, me and my friends will NEVER ever go back there again!

Great place to go bowling with the family. They have cosmic bowling at night time, and a Pizza Hut located within.
