I used to party here all the time. The lines were long, the bouncers were rude and the drinks were overpriced, but gosh did we ever have fun when we went.
This place has a main floor as well as a basement. The seating is not plentiful and it seems this place is more "dance and make an a$$ of yourself" than it is "sit and talk." But this is okay in my mind, because there is more seating downstairs, and this is usually where we end up... for more reasons than one.
The basement is usually less crowded, so lines are shorter, drinks come quicker and the air feels a little less dirty.
The other AWESOME thing about the basement is the stripper pole positioned in the middle of the dance floor. If you are patient and you wait until about 1:00 in the morning you can probably catch some people embarrassing themselves on and or near this pole.
Enjoy!! -

Wooly Bully's is a good place to stop in for a couple of drinks. It is 2 floors but it is really tiny. This place used to big lines to get into but now it's easy to get in.
On a good night the upstairs is packed and the dance floor gets too crowded, it becomes pretty tough to move around the entire place.
The downstairs is much less crowded. Which means less of a wait to get drinks down there. I actually appreciate the downstairs if you are just wanting to have a few drinks you can actually enjoy conversations with friends. -

Wolly Bully's is a club just off Whyte.
It has two levels (main floor and basement) with different music on each. The main level plays hip hop and the lower level sticks to more dance music. The upper level is way better!
Wolly's can be fun. It's not very big though. It's not the nicest bar on Whyte but it's fun if you have a group of friends with you.
For some reason, I have it set in my mind that Wolly's is not a very classy place. Maybe it's the environment, I'm not sure.
The staff is friendly. Which is something that a lot of bars don't have anymore. They actually smile and talk to you, not just throw a drink at you and move on. It was nice to see people having fun and enjoying their job.
One thing that Wolly's needs is more bathrooms! They are limited and if it's a busy night, you'll have to wait.
It's a casual place and a fun place to go with friends. The dance floor is small but so is the whole place!
