So I have a kitten not a pooch, but as I walked by Woofles I noticed a grossly overweight ball of feline fur sitting in the window. Cat! Figuring they must have something to offer 'she who I spoil' I had to at least check.
Minimal selection, but a selection nonetheless. There were just three options for treats, two of which were their own Woofles brand. I bought my kitty some sort of dried tuna treat that looked like bark shavings.
Basically she goes beyond nuts for it. With this treat she has now learned the word food and is also learning to sit. She will listen for kitty crack! It's fantastic. The only downfall is the bits in the bottom of the bag turn to sawdust and they not only make her sneeze, but she won't eat them.
Either way I have yet to find a treat that makes her this excited. -

this place is one of my Fav places to shop for my little 4 legged friends. The owner is amazing and uber friendly.

Woofles, although in a fantastic location, fails to deliver as a pet boutique. Their selection of "Woofles" (waffles for dogs) is very small, hence making their sign a bit misleading. The staff behind the counter was aloof and my impression leaving the store was less than favorable. I will say, though, that what little selection there is is very cool.

I had a similar experience to the other reviewer: detached, uninterested service (I think from the owner!) and a small selection of the namesake Woofles.
A snarky blunt sign on the door states that there will be a charge for cleaning up after any accidents, and reminds owners to keep their dogs under control, and I understand the reasoning behind it, but if you allow dogs in your store, which sells doggie things, you'd think simply handing the owner some paper towel and Fantastik would suffice.
Definitely not a place we'll be visiting again; their stuff is ok, but you could get the same products at many other places with far friendlier service!

Woofles is a pet treats and accessories store located in the heart Victoria BC in Market Square. We have an onsite barkery and offer everything from shoes to hoodies, from Woofles to Birthday cakes. You are welcome to bring your pet in shopping! Ignore the two yapping chihuahuas who will tell you this store belongs to them.
Woofles has been open since 1999 and was bought by the current owner in 2006, stop in and say hi, tell us you saw us on YELP and you'll get an automatic 10% off anything in store.
History
Established in 1999
Woofles was originally intended to be a diner style pet cafe but when it changed hands in 2006 more fashions and accessories were brought in.
Every year Woofles puts on a great fundraising costume contest in Market Square - called Were Woofles Wag'oween.
In 2006 it was just Royanne and Simmah, but since then Loco the cat was rescued from a barn litter, and in 2010, Dizzy the long haired chihuahua was rescued from the local SPCA.
Meet the Business Owner: Royanne P.
Royanne and her dog Simmah bought Woofles in 2006, we added our fantastic cat Loco to the mix in 2003, then recently we adopted one of the 43 Chihuahuas that were dropped of at the SPCA in Victoria. We named her Dizzy and we think she's adorable.
