I moved from Toronto to Downtown Vancouver and was recommended to come here for grooming. At the time I wondered why they didn't suggest a place downtown, but now I know!
Sue is the resident groomer (which I love, don't like it when it keeps changing) and she is gentle and thorough-- and my dog is not the cuddly, happy-to-get-left-at-the-groomer's type... think more 6lbs of fluffy rage.
Even if I'd lived in Kitsilano, I think it would have been easy to pass by this charming little store, so very happy I was told about this place! -

Cut our lil guy's nails too short 2x! Blood all over our light coloured couch it was awful. I know mistakes happens but on 2 different visits it happened and they didn't even warn us. Also, I had to fix his ears myself:(

Had a wonderful experience at Woof! a few days ago. My toy poodle was groomed by Sue, who is a very considerate lovely lady. Usually, my dog is stressed out going to groomers, but he was very relaxed when I picked him up and his hair was cut beautifully! Will definitely recommend this place to small dog owners, as those tend to be very picky about groomers they like :) thanks!

I just brought in my Shih Tzu to the lovely ladies at Woof! After being highly recommended to do so. First of all it was a cute little neighborhood store and lots of pooches very excited to be in visiting. My dog has a very recent spinal cord injury and needed some pampering and extra special care. The groomer came out and discussed the injury and how she would work with my dog to make sure she was comfortable. She informed me of her expirience with injured dogs and I left feeling overly confident that Baby Woo was in awesome hands. When I got the call to pick her up 1.5 hrs later, so happy it wasn't an all day event like other places, I rushed down. She looked fabulous!! Her cut was great and she smelled wonderful and she strutted out like a little princess. Thank you ladies for the wonderful care. We will definately be back.

This is by far the best pet shop /groomers I've come across. My dog comes with some unique problems but Yuki and Camilla are amazing. They are always there to offer advice and support. Sue is a great groomer, and the only one that my dog allows near him. At one point he got really snarly and aggressive. The whole shop was so supportive and really worked hard so that he would feel comfortable again. I can't praise them enough!

I discovered this little store in my neighbourhood earlier this summer and every time I pop in it reinforces how much I like it. The first time I needed to get some kitty litter. Yuki (who I think is the owner) gave me advice on the few brands she carries and each of their pros and cons. While there I noticed dogs coming in for grooming. My Sheltie is 9 and had never had a professional grooming. I decided it was time for some doggy pampering and booked an appointment. That experience was also stellar and I'll definitely be taking Angelina. She has a double fur coat and the groomer got out a ton in two hours!! At $25/hr it's worth not having to vacuum every day now that so much excess fur is gone. This last visit I needed kitten food and once again Yuki had great advice. Her selection of brands is small but she focuses on nutrition. Prices seem reasonable but probably not if you're used to shopping at Costco. I don't have room for 50 kilo bags of pet food in our condo and I'm not overly concerned about getting the best price for my pet food. As I was trying out a new brand of kitten food I bought two one-pound bags of different flavours and they were $3.99 each. The bigger bags were more economical. Other than grooming services they also offer a U-Wash option. It definitely has a neighbourhood feel to it as I bump into people I recognize from walking the dog. When I left today, Yuki called me by name as she was saying goodbye. For a small store catering to dogs and cats I couldn't ask for anything more.

We love taking our puppy to Woof! We first found Woof on the recommendation of another dog owner in our neighborhood. Our puppy was 4 months old when we took him for his first appointment. Sue the groomer was so patient with him and he looked so handsome when he was done. We've gone there 2 other times since then and have had great experiences each time. The last time we were there, our little guy's fur was very matted down (from a summer of playing in the water and sand at the beach) Sue patiently worked on him for over 4.5 hours and we couldn't be happier! We're going back for another appointment this week. Our pup is looking forward to seeing Sue, Yuki and Q again!
