The Woodlawn portion of the Medical Clinic's title is now a misnomer, as it has recently moved to Main Street in Dartmouth. I remember thinking during my last visit, that the facilities weren't ageing well. The carpets were icky, the chairs were ailing like the patients, and the overall atmosphere felt lethargic and sickly.
Now, with the new clinic up and running, it's impossible to believe that these doctors once practiced in such shambles. The new facilities are so glorious, with modern colors, a bright and spacious open concept design, and chic chairs to lounge in while you wait your turn. I didn't even mind having to wait during my visit earlier this week because it didn't feel like a doctor's office. There were flat screens mounted on the walls and ample room for the dozens of patrons waiting for their respective doctors.
The bathrooms were clean and updated, and the actual examination rooms were great. The chairs were leather or pleather and wood, conducive to wiping down if need be.
If you're looking for a family physician, there are quite a few at this location and I know my family doctor has always been great. This is a fantastic new facility, so if you're feeling sick and need to visit an MD, the least of your worries will be parking or a clean facility. This place is great!
