A lovely place to go with friends to enjoy some well made sushi, probably the best place in London to eat sushi at a restaurant

First, we should make sure one thing is understood - there's a difference between sushi, and all-you-can-eat sushi. It's a whole different philosophy. Sushi is art-as-food; stuffing yourself with as much as you can handle goes against the whole idea.

That said... all you can eat sushi can still be awesome, and this place is. It's just not the same as going to a "proper" sushi restaurant.

There's tons of selection - not just fish, but tempura veggies, and other options. They bring your food very fast - I think our first dish arrived within 3 minutes of them taking our menu sheets.

As long as you eat everything you order, they'll keep on bringing the plates - no buffet lines to deal with. You get a drink, miso soup and green tea ice cream included with your meal. The ice cream is *amazing*.

The food itself was rather plain, not a lot of effort/thought was put into the presentation. But again, that's not really the idea here.

The menu states that there's a maximum time of 90 mins per group. I'm not sure how strictly that's enforced, but if you're looking for a place to sit with coworkers/friends all night it's something to keep in mind.

The service gets 1 star - barely. The greetings consisted mainly of grunts. No smiles to be seen. When picking up empty plates from tables there was a lot of crashing and banging into the bins - good thing they use plastic! It's loud enough that it takes away from the meal; if you're talking with friends people have to repeat themselves a lot.

A great advantage to all you can eat sushi is trying new things, and we did a lot of that. Now I have some new favorites - takoyaki is delicious!

If you're a sushi-noob, you'll find lots of fun things to try.

If you're a sushi lover, there's tons of selection and you don't have to try to narrow your choices down to one or two things like at most places.

If you're a sushi snob (as I can be, not judging) you won't be crying tears of bliss, but you're getting stuffed on sushi, so there's that.

The only thing to wonder here is why people still eat this food.  I have to disagree with Pheng, the price is not decent. For me, sushi is less about consumption and more about quality.  The fish tastes old, the seaweed wrappers are stale and chewy, and although I left full ($63 for two people) I was unsatisfied.

All you can eat sushi = epic fail.

I don't understand for a second why this place is so busy!
Does this place cater to the closeted S&M crowd; people who need to be told what to order, how they like it, and how much it should cost, and to eat it with a smile, knowing all the while how horrible it is?

If that is the case... Leave this place immediately and go to Asahi.. master commands it.

If you love sushi and all you could eat...There are two Wonder Sushi in town (London, Ontario).

    PROS:
    -Food is tasty sushi
-Price (Decent price for the amount you get)
    -Open room of space inside
-Great for groups and friends to come in
-Value (the price what you are paying for the amount of value is more)
-Very nice decoration on the wall
    -Clean restroom/washroom
-Amazing ice cream (Rea bean, Green tea, coffee, etc...)
-Good if you pay cash and you get a discount
-Some great options on the menu

    CONS:
    -Language barrier (customer service)
-Sometime the food came slow (Because it make fresh-hand rolls)
-The order does not come in order as you list them

    OVERALLS:
I like this place and I'm a fan because I know for a fact. Several of my friends and I go to this place at least once a week to get some tasty sushi. The best value is decent price for the amount you get for. Specially it is all-you-could-eat.

Please don't single out the other sushi restaurants.

Following my review of the other Wonder Sushi branch in London, I have to say this one is not as good as the other one.  In term of the food, it's petty much similar, but in terms of the service, it was terrible.  When we went (and we have only been at this place once...), the restaurant was almost completely empty.  The food took forever to arrive and half our order was either missing or the wrong sushi/sashimi.

The other branch is now the same size as this branch.  But I suggest that you go to the other branch for better service.

This location is bigger than the Wonderland one, which I have turned away from twice due to the long wait. My love of sushi isn't very broad -- I can eat a california roll or the avocado/cucumber -- but I can say that what I've had here is good. There is enough options (beef teriyaki, noodles, soups, egg rolls to name a few) to fill your tummy if sushi doesn't appeal. The way you order and how it is served to you takes some getting used to, but that's part of the experience. You select dishes from a list and your choices come out in sporadic bursts. You pay for what you eat...anything left over is a surcharge to your bill, so don't order too much right away. Pace yourself...the servers definitely do.
