A lot of people have already written about their delicious fried chicken wings.. so I'll write about their really good noodle soup bowls, where you choose your own ingredients. It's so cheap too!
First you choose the type of noodles you want like vermicelli, a medium thickness rice noodle, or egg noodle. Next, you can choose from a wide range of ingredients from chicken wings to beef brisket to corn to squid balls to cheese sausage to curry fish balls. They make it quick too (which is great because there's always a line-up). The soup is nicely seasoned and never salty, plus the bowl always comes with Chinese choy as well.
I find this choice in food gets left out due to the popularity of the chicken wings, but if you're craving a good home-made style bowl of noodles, try this out!
Note: There's a list of all the ingredient choices on the cashier counter-top. (English and Chinese)
Prices for noodle bowls:
2 items: $4
3 items: $4.75
4 items: $5.50Listed in: A warm hug on a cold day

Wo Fung, I love you. Despite your pushy service and my inability to read half your menu because it's not in English, you still make some delicious chicken wings and deep fried squid around. Especially love that I can get these foods so easily - usually I can only find the deep fried squid tentacles at a dim sum place or the night market. And the two items combined is an easy peasy $10 snack.
Your place is popular though, and I always feel rushed when making an order that I never have time to try any of your other things. I see people ordering noodle bowls from you and I'd love to try it, but how? I don't understand! One day, one day I'll come when you're not so busy and you'll be able to walk me through the other half of your menu. Though looking at the constant crowd outside your ordering stall, I'm not sure if I'll ever see that day. Sigh.Listed in: Richmond!

Chicken Wings - eat it while its hot or you'll notice the oil. It gets messy. Really good taste - It's ginger marinaded.
Honey Lemon Tea - Really good, It is one of the better ones made in town. -
Review from Simon K.
I actually come here for the honey-lemon tea drink! They make one of the best, in a nice tall plastic cup with a few slices of lemon, and a good hint of honey mixed in with the ice and tea, this is always a treat to quench my thirst! The busiest stall in the Aberdeen food court, with the word 'Dessert' in their name, you'd think they would be throwing out sugar goodies, instead what I see are wings, fried, greasy, juicy goodness!
Now if wings are deemed a dessert, I am in! Let the slaughter feast begin. There have been times I have come here late, and they have run out. They are pretty cheap, for all the items on the menu, but let us get the chicken out of the way, if your looking for a treat, you like crispyness, you like it piping hot, your a chicken fan, well prepare to wait a good 10-15 minutes, which is fine, as these things come out burning hot. Cash only peoples, this is Richmond, a Chinese establishment, and it won't break the bank. Once you see the plate, you will wonder, where are these wings coming from, they are pretty big, not the little pathetic wings your buying from the supermarket, don't think of where they came from, just eat them up!
The other thing they serve here that isn't bad, is the noodles, where you pick the two items, with your noodles, not bad, a good bite, and goes well with the wings. I have yet to try any 'Desserts' here, maybe one day.... but I might just change my tune and call the wings dessert! -

Damn good Chicken Wings!
Who would have guessed that a food court in Aberdeen would house such a gem. The Chicken Wings here are as good as the wings from Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles! Served piping hot and super crispy. I wish I could eat these wings every day, but I'm pretty sure these wings would put me in an early grave (but I would still be grinning from ear to ear).
Will be back for sure. -

Deep fried chicken wings were very good. Interesting recipe battered with garlic and a hint of ginger. Thanks for the recommendation Yelper's!
Would visit again next time I'm in town. -
Review from Darcy D.
This is top quality fried food.
The fry chef is doing everything right and the chicken wings come out perfectly cooked. They prepare these morsels on a per order basis, pluck them straight from the fryer and serve them within seconds so these things are HOT, too HOT to even touch.
And they're JUICY. The chicken fat between the skin and the meat is beautifully rendered and trapped inside the crispy fried skin. These things are basting themselves while they fry! It's alchemy!
Fry cooks of Vancouver be told, Wo Fung is the standard to meet. -

Yeah, it's time I wrote about here. When I'm in this food court I usually come here for the usual. Chicken wings.
And the soups with tripe and noodles.
Simple as it is, they do it right.
Always.
good
and
yummy.
Wings can be greasy, but that's what you get because the goodness in them supercedes the greasiness. -

Deep...Fried...Wings...
I don't get it, perhaps it's my fault for only trying the wings. The wings were very fresh. SO Fresh that the oil was exploding from the cavity between the bones. The taste? It tasted pretty deep fried and that was about it.
I think i've come to the conclusion that deep fried wings taste the same pretty much everywhere. Perhaps next time i should try the tripe and noodles like Larry has suggested. -
Review from Gloria H.
The wings are laced with crack, no joke!
They used to be in another mall and panic struck when they moved until my sister found them again. My brother-in-law LOVES this chicken and can have half a dozen and more in one setting easily. Once we tried, we understood why he was so hooked. The style is quite popular in HK and the owner (from HK of course) got it down. It's so crispy and light without all the batter and SO TASTY, just a bit of spice with flavors that explode in your mouth. They are so famous for their chicken wings that there's always a line waiting, even before they are open and they are the only stall in the food court that consistently has a long line.
Besides the awesome wings, they are also popular with their beef lung. Even in Richmond, it's not easy finding a place that has beef lung and it is so good. It's soul food at its best!Listed in: Fried Chicken

Still loving this place. I've been back on a number of times to try other items. You can get noodles with two items for $4 - a lot cheaper than the place next door that charges $5 - $6 for the same bowl. I had the rice noodles with fish balls and fish slices. While the broth wasn't the best, everything else was good. It came with veggies too.
Their deep fried squid is delicious too. I think its fried in the same batter as their chicken wings, but you get that chewiness. This is made to order as well. Yum!Listed in: Chinese Food - Where to Find…

Review from Gina I.
Okay. We had to try the wings everyone was raving about! They were so good. I could only eat 2 as that's way too much grease for sensitive me. They were so flavourful and juicy! I am now at home with a tummy ache, but it was worth it ;)
I also tried the octopus which was fried as well! It was yummy too. When I die, I want octopus, all the way. -
Review from Fritz S.
known for their tasty crazy-ass chicken wings!! So good there's a freakin line-up everyday for these baby's! in fact i don't recall anyone else ordering anything but that!.. all i see on the counter is wings and ice lemon tea... i don't know what they marinate it in but please don't change your recipe! that's freakin gold! and if that doesn't say great wings i don't know what does.
ya ya ya im sure they got other items that are just as good but i don't give a #$@$!! i review what i want!! Great place! -
Review from Vincci L.
Chicken wings here are pretty awesome. Freshly deep fried, with a special marinade, these are almost on par with the Phnom Penh ones. Almost.
They also have a 'create your own noodles', where you can choose your type of noodle, with your choice of toppings. It's great, because I can customize my noodle, depending on what I feel like that day.
Their cold milk tea is also delicious, better than many other Chinese establishments. I also love how they have the 'extra large' size, since I usually like my cold milk tea so much that I like to have more.
Line ups are long here, but it's totally worth it!! -

holy chicken wings!!!!!! Thank you all Yelpers for introducing me to Wo Fung!!!!
I saw the chicken wings, and I ordered them!. There are two options.
1. 3 chicken wings (FULL WING) for $3.50
2. 8 Wings with pepper (wing only) for $3.75
eating with my bf, we went with the 8 wings, and I conclude that I get more bang for your buck.
The two times I went to Aberdeen centre, there were people lining up at this place - when I see Asian people lining up for food, I trust that it's good stuff!
Although it's a bit of a wait, I'm happy to know that my wings are made to order... when they came out, they were pipppppping hot! My bf even burned his fingers! On my first bite of the wings... I almost could not even actually eat them they were on fire!!!! smoke was coming out of the meat (good sign). When I could finally taste it, it was absolutely delicious. super super juicy, and the flavours just expand in your mouth with every bite.
It's comparable to the Phnom Pehn Chicken wings, but completely different because there is more juice in these ones, as opposed to the Cambodian resto, which you have to dip in the lemon pepper sauce.
I just wish there was something this delicious closer to where I live!Listed in: Bo Lo Bao and Cha Chan Teng

Deep fried chicken wings for me, and deep fried squid for the my man. Do not make the mistake of leaving the food court without trying them, newbies--really, there's no need to be scared.

One thing to order here: the fried chicken wings. Really their specialty. Be careful not to burn the roof of your mouth as you bite into them - they are HOT!

Wo Fung "Dessert"??? Hmm....I didn't see any desserts on their menu. Anyway, we were just hanging out at Aberdeen Mall and my friend wanted to get some cream puffs from Beard Papa and she told me about these popular fried chicken wings. So of course I had to get some! (Even though I was still stuffed from lunch :P) The wings are good. Kinda reminded me of salt & pepper chicken wings. Pretty darn tasty. If you happen to visit the mall, I'd give it a try.

Perfect! Perfectly fried. It wasn't oily or anything. I had a milk tea with that also delicious. There was a long wait even though all I ordered was 3 wings + a milk tea. A lot of the people that work at the mall order their lunch and I got caught in the same line so probably why I waited so long BUT it was well worth the wait. Juicy Chicken & lightly fried. Cant wait to go back here.

this is a review of the fried chicken wings only. it's the first item on the top left menu (3 whole wings) for about $3.50 CAD. in chinese it's called the fung sa gai yick and i remember eating them when aberdeen center still had the movie theatre and bowling alley (waaaay back in the day). these wings are crazy good. fried to order so they come out screaming hot. i don't know what they prep these wings with but i get subtle hints of ginger and garlic. an order only takes a few minutes but try to give it a few extra minutes (depending on your own will power) to cool down or suffer 3rd degree burns to your hands and or tongue. me? i'm goddam savage, and tongue blisters be damned! skin is crispy with just the right amount of batter. never greasy (a sign the oil is changed frequently). the crust seals in the juices of the chicken and keeps the oil out. oh man. my kid also noted that her fingers were getting sticky from the chicken skin's collagen. cooked PERFECTLY. *sigh* i wish i hadn't eaten so much at dim sum beforehand...this is a regular stop from now on.
