I love, love, LOVE, this store! Don't know what the other reviewers are talking about - the staff are super friendly and let me peruse their store in peace.
I hate, hate, HATE it when the staff in similar stores in Van follow me around, make forced small talk and ask me inane questions ...I feel like I have to sneak out the back door. But the Wishlist staff happily let me browse.
Plus their products are super cute. I always go in there to pick up a gift for the ladies in my life and usually end up buying one for me too!
I get no sticker shock at Wishlist...the reviewer than commented on it being overpriced has obviously never shopped in Yaletown! -

*Girlie Review Alert*
Is that pink baby bottles I see? Makeup? Jewelry? Pink dishwashing gloves? White shelves dipped in chocolates and pinks? Boxes that spell out "Shopping?"Did I just enter a place built specifically for all things gifty-girlie? I drive by here all the time, always on my way to somewhere else. But on this day, I was walking and knew I could finally indulge myself in some moments of sweet shoppingness.
My cloud of cotton candy dissipated into the atmosphere and my bubble gum bubble popped the moment I walked through the door and was met with lots of great, girlie treats and 2 women who could've cared less if anyone was in their store.
"And then he said,"
"And then I was like..."
"I can't believe they were doing that..."
"Did you see when so and so wore..."
I spent a few moments hovering around the front of the shop, wondering if they would stop talking and at least acknowledge that there was someone else there...nope.
I did a quick walk through just to see what brands they had (mental notes for other girlie shopping trips in the city), walked right by them...lingered, and still they continued with their conversation.
...I wish I may I wish I might find a girlie store complete with sweet shop attendants tonight :-)Listed in: 'Cos I'm Just a Girl

Heyyy, I've been here too. It's always funny to find stores I've been in on here. This place is very cute inside, girly and delicate. I *think* I got acknowledged, but I don't care much about sales attendants. As long as they don't talk loud enough to be heard by everyone and if they don't pester me, I really don't mind if they keep to themselves.
They have handbags, makeup, bath supplies, scarves, and nice, subtle jewellry. I didn't get anything but it does have good taste. It teeters on being a bit useless for some of its products, though. Maybe not? I don't know. But there isn't too much stock - as in, it feels organized and the products have been selected in the right quantities. Prices are pretty high though, and it seems to have few sales. -

Everything a girl could want all in one store! From jewelry, to purses to make-up and cute knick knacks, this store is full of fun and super girly finds. Like Vancouvergirl mentioned, i too hate when staff in small stores or boutiques follow me around - here the staff are attentive but let you browse in peace! The prices are not overly expensive, fairly typical of a small boutique. I also find this a great place for a last minute gift for the girl who has everything, always something unique and fun to find here.

I am a girly girl and love these type of stores, especially since one of my favorite stores is Barefoot Contessa on Main street before heading to my favorite record store. I am not normally in the area, however, was for Greek Day, however, wouldn't go out of my way to grab something. The prices match the location, however, some things were just overly priced, regardless of how nicely they were packaged. I have seen similar items, not the same items, similar concept items nicely packaged for 1/2 the price. The store itself is well put together. I have mixed feelings about the service. It was busy due to Greek Day, however, inside the actual store, it wasn't. The staff seemed very anti-social and not that knowledgeable about their stuff in stock. They were more interested in socializing with their friends than actually trying to work browsers into feeling welcome. Just this alone seemed to off put me completely into the store. Being the social butterfly that I am, I tried to engage in conversation and they seemed just based on their body language that conversing with me was such a chore. I wanted to know more about the business, their products, something employees would love to talk about, however, they seemed interested in doing something else.
