Review from Christina C.

Stayed here on company's dime - wish we could have gotten the W! But got W ingate, instead.
Sorry Meredith A, but I disagree with a 5 star rating.
I think... maybe Dallas doesn't Yelp much. I was joking with the boss that we would be the leaders at most places we check in at.
We came to Dallas for a work project. Stayed at Wingate Inn.
3 stars. I mean, I've stayed at some pretty shady hotels. So this is a.o.k.
The staff here is completely in their own little world. The receptionist is on personal calls, the staff uses headphones, but they aren't rude... they just aren't professional.
I asked a few of them about where we can go to chill after work. We went downtown and it was DEAD!! no people what-so-ever.
THEN the next night, I asked where Greenville Ave was (more popular than downtown) and she didn't know! Then she said it was like a 45 minute drive. We found it on the GPS system and it was only 15 minutes away. The staff is not knowledgeable.
The windows are cheap - it sounds like the window is open, I can hear everything outside. I was on a phone call and even the person on the other line heard the noises outside (traffic).
They have FREE happy hour and breakfast. skip the happy hour.
The happy hour has stale corn chips with nacho cheese, boxed wine, cheetos, and miller light. -- at least its free.
The breakfast - get the waffles! skip everything else.
It's good enough. Got free wifi, free breakfast and a king sized bed for one.Listed in: Get some shut eye

I had a great stay here at the Wingate Inn in downtown Dallas. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The hotel was located in a prime spot next to local downtown Dallas attractions, restaurants, and shops. Their website offered some great package deals, check them out... http://www.marketcente...

Review from Tiffany A.

We stayed here because my husband's job booked the reservation. I normally don't like other people booking hotel rooms for me cause I like nice hotels. We got disgusted with this place the minute we walked in cause it looked dirty and run down. The staff wasn't knowleable about anything, and this town shuts down at 10pm! When we got to the room, the carpet was dirty and grimy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ten years! The decor was dark and gloomy, the furniture was dirty and scarred up, the bathroom looked gross! The room also smelled like roach spray! We would have went to another hotel immediately but it was late and we were tired from our flight. As we were sleeping, my 7 year old daughter found a live roach in the bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now this is disgusting I immediately got up and put all my bags off the dirty disgusting floor. First thing in the morning we went to the Westin at the Galleria which was so much better. Beware of this roach motel!!!!!!!!!
