Mmmmm
Stopped in here for brunch and just couldn't decide which one thing to get...so I didn't!
I love eggs Benedict and they had so many options so I picked the one with tomato and avocado and I love that you can order a half benny for just $7.99 and it comes with tons of delicious hash browns which are almost like a baked and fried potato, soo good! I also ordered a piece of the banana bread french toast, I found a recipe for this a few weeks ago and have been wanting to so bad so I was pretty surprised to see it on a menu and had to try it! Holy crap was that ever good!!! It was moist and french toasty and just yumm!
I had ordered a Pick Me Up to drink and there was definitely enough alcohol in that to Pick Me Up...a few more and someone would have had to Pick Me Up and carry me home!!!
Service seemed a little slow considering they were not busy but the waiter was super nice and with a nice view of the mountains I didn't mind the wait. -

I would like to scream out loud to all of you ,yelpers. This is by far ,the most delicious North American style breakfast I have ever had!!!
Everything is just so fresh and cooked just right!!! The chorizol sausages is hot and yummy, the country sausages is so juicy,my scramble eggs are made perfectly well!!Just by how the eggs cooked in your breakfast ,you will know how good this breakfast cook is!! it is simple to make but the easiest to screw up!
My french toast was just as soft as sponge cake with a delightful taste of the egg.
And their wild berry sauce is just to die for! U can see the steam came out through the bowl, and it is not tart, not overly sweet, just perfect!!! I even packed some home with me!
The ambiance was sweet and cozy, our waitress was very friendly and helpful too!
And the point is the price was really good, consider most of the restaurants in the village or whistler area are always over priced!!!
This restaurant is not right in the whistler village,it is outside the village in the tennis court! it will probably take u 10 minutes to walk to ,but it is worth to do it!!!
and did I mention about this is in a tennis court right? So we found out besides the outdoor tennis court ,they have a huge indoor tennis court too!!! kewl place!
Love it!!!
Btw,my friend had their chef's choice of egg benny...it is a very good one to die for!!!
I can't recall what's in there since I wasn't the one who was eating that. but I had a small bite of the taste, then I told my friend I wanna order what she's having too!!! -

Good breakfasts, and I haven't tried any other meals, so no comment on lunch or dinner items.
My boyfriend had the westcoast benny with smoked salmon and enjoyed it a lot, and I had the eggs rockefeller with spinach and swiss cheese, which was very tasty. Portions are generous and the prices are not bad for Whistler.
It was a bit of a wait for food but when we came it it was fairly busy and they only had two servers running around (a third one came in a little later). -

**This review is for their dinner menu
One of my dear friends just started working there, and i thought I'd try their dead season dinner special: 2 courses for $20. It was... meh. The menu sounds incredible, duck confit, herb roasted lamb shank, braised beef short ribs.. We went with the duck and the lamb, which are both stupid easy dishes to nail.
How do you make roasted lamb shank bland?? I couldn't figure it out. The confit duck was only slightly better, but it was severely over-salted. Both dishes come with "seasonal veg" and garlic mash, which tasted like airplane food. The potatoes were underseasoned, undermashed, and had a raw garlic flavor.
So sad... This is my go-to breakfast place, especially in the summer, but their dinner menu is wayyyy off. I don't understand how WW food can be so bad when their sister restaurant Elements is one of my favourite places in town! -

The Wildwood, is the place to go for a delicious eggs benny. They offer an eggs benny sampler which is amazing, so I am a little biased because I tend to get this everytime when I go for breakfast. The sampler includes a natural benny (for you vegetarians) which is tomato and avocado, a west coast benny -smoked salmon, and a normal benny with ham. The natural is my fav and I am no vegetarian! The display of food always looks amazing. Wow I am starting to get hungry!
The fact that this restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner tends to make me think that somewhere the meals have to suffer, but overall it's good food. I rate it 4 stars because it is overpriced- welcome to Whistler! and the staff are often a little slow to have you seated, but if I was just rating the breakfast- 5 stars it would be.
This restaurant on top of its location at the tennis courts in the village, is also located in Function Junction for breakfast and lunch, and in Pemberton too. -

This review is for breakfast only as it's all I've ever eaten there but I do look forward to trying some other meal there sometime! First impression is that it's full of locals which is always a good sign and lots of kids (which can be positive or negative depending on what you are looking for). This is no fine dining establishment but it's no Denny's either. The breakfast is fantastic. My boyfriend is a bernaise sauce snob; he thinks nobody in Vancouver can make it but he loved the eggs benny here. I will definitely return here at least for brunch every time I head up in Whistler direction.

Although I've had okay meals in the past at the Wild Wood in Whistler, after today's experience, I simply do not think I will ever return to this overpriced excuse for a full service restaurant. Things did not get off to a good start when my girlfriend & I waited to be sat and watched one of the waitresses text message a friend on her mobile phone in full view of the guests. That already put a dark cloud on the experience.
After being sat, we waited between five and ten minutes without being acknowledged by a server. When I saw guests sat after us being taken care of, we simply left. Presumably the text messaging waitress had to write "OMG LOL!" to one of her friends and couldn't be bothered to serve any guests.
Service at this location has been steadily going downhill. There's simply no reason to pay for overpriced meals when there are plenty of better restaruants in Whistler. -

After waiting 5 minutes to be acknowledged by someone (after several waitstaff shuffled by), we were warned that there'd be a 30min wait from the kitchen after our orders were placed. Hungry and too lazy to find another place, we decided to just deal with it and scooted into a table. I ordered the Eggs Benedict w/ crabmeat and my friend ordered a burger and crab chowder.
After what felt like an eternity (probably really 45mins or so), our food arrived and I noticed that my eggs benedict were very skimpy. The crabmeat was probably about a teaspoon's worth each so it was totally dwarfed by the egg and english muffin. My friend said his burger was OK and his crab chowder was really good. -

This review is really only for Breakfast, and their breakfast is fantastic. Best value in Whistler, they have 5 different types of benedicts and a sampler benedict, all of which are very very good.
Best breakfast I have had in whistler. -

It's where the locals even go for good food. Their known for their grand breakfast choices.
