Sometimes, it's not the food but the company.

This always seems to win out on the "which bar to go meet up?" place.

I generally like this place because it's in the north and close to home.  It's in the middle of nowhere and not that busy.  The service is always nice and quick.

The food is medicore bar food so don't expect to be wow'ed... and there's not enough TV is you like your food with sports.

I do like that there's sufficient parking, roomy bench seats, and the tables are set far apart so you can be a little rowdy if you want.

I'd recommend this place if you want a beer with some wings but don't come with high expectations of the food.  Oh, and it is quite expensive for wings and beer.

    Cheers.

Service is friendly like any other sports bar.  The food on the other hand was so so.  The wings tasted a little off and the size of the wings are really small.  The price is average for a pound of wings.  Place is a bit old and wrecked.

    3.5 stars**

Wild Wing is located in a small, but expanding plaza with a variety of restaurants, including Aji Sai, Korean shabu shabu, Phoenix Restaurant and even a Dollarama. Choices, choices, choices.

But for that night, I was craving wings.

There was 1 hostess managing the restaurant on a Saturday night, but there was only 2-3 tables filled.

    Ordered:
Honey Garlic and BBQ - I've tried the Honey Garlic wings here before. It tasted EXACTLY the same. The sweetness covers up any hint of BBQ flavour it may hope to show. I didn't mind as much, as I do love my honey garlic wings, but disappointing, as they do have an extensive list on the honey garlic combinations, probably with the same result.

Gar-Par - A combination of garlic and parmesan. A bit too creamy for my liking.

Overall, the wings are well cooked, meaty, and juicy. Too many wing places over cook their wings to dryness, so Wild Wings does this well. The flavours were a bit disappointing though.

Oh, and the fries. McCain fries anyone?

This place doesn't blow my mind, but great for a quick fix.

Note: I do notice a lot more Wild Wing restaraunts around, as this US company is expanding across the borders.

I came here for lunch with a group of coworkers. The location is pretty good since it's close by. The wings are good and the service is great.

    *** FOOD ***
We ordered 100 wings in 5 different flavors with fries and onion rings. To drink we had a pitcher each of MGD and Heineken. I won't go over all the different wings, but just a couple that stood out.

    *She's a Hottie*
This is Wild Wing's hottest wings. I was pleasantly surprised by the heat content. It starts off as just a slight sting and then grows. The sourness and crunch is appealing and the meat is well cooked.

    *Dry Cajun*
Not all wings have to be drenched in sauce. These wings were rubbed in some Cajun spices. It tastes good, but you have to eat it while it's hot (right after it's cooked). The spices are not hot but it is tasty. The wings were well cooked.

The beer tasted a little watered down.

    *** APPEARANCE ***
The restaurant is a lot larger than I thought it would be from the way it looked outside. It seems like it could seat 40+ people easily. The walls are adorned with typical bar paraphernalia: neon beer signs and TVs. The walls are painted with a "Wild West" motif: cacti and desert reminiscent of the Grand Canyon. There was a large blow-up palm tree. The restaurant is generally clean but the floors were sticky, like some movie theaters. The washrooms were in good condition. The waitress was cute - always a plus!

    *** SERVICE ***
The service was great. We were greeted and seated immediately upon entering. Our server was friendly and upbeat. She was willing to accommodate us by allowing us to order 5 different sets of wings instead of 4. The food came quickly (about 10-15min) after ordering. Our waitress checked on us to make sure everything was going well.

    *** PRICE ***
    100 wings - 5 flavors: $100
    Onion Rings: $6
    Fries: $5
    MGD Pitcher: $16
    Heineken Pitcher: $18

Total after tax and tip: $190

Pricing is good for 10 people. However, dressing on the fries should not cost extra.

*** OUT OF THE WILD ***
Wild Wing is a nice restaurant, especially for a chain. The food is good, though the beer is watered down. There are definitely things that can be improved, but most chains have these issues and are not show stoppers. This restaurant has a wide variety of wing flavors and I would go back to try some more. I would suggest trying Wild Wing, if you're wild enough.

Sucks to be the owner of this place. Sorry whoever you are!!

So the staff here are completely rude!! Food isn't up to par either. This review is based on 4 visits not just one!!

Too bad, I love wild wings but won't eat here ever again.

DON'T GO HERE IF YOU ARE ON A DIET!!!!

    Yea no kidding. This chain is awesome to come in grab a pint and a pound of wings any flavour you need. The staff is underworked, so attentive, what else is there to know;

Leave your Dietitian at the door.

A quick review...I politely gave this place THREE chances and well I wont be going back...from crappy service, to orders being wrong to telling me the wrong information when I had already paid for my food...I am not impressed with this place. I was truly hoping for a great place to go and dine with the convenience of the location. The food along is not something to pull me back...blah and I can make something much tastier at home on my own! A regular spot for me to grab a quick meal...ah...NO....that wont be happening!
