With a cozy, artsy outdoors feel, Wild Coffee has always pleased my cravings. The folks behind the counter are always quick to offer a suggestion when you can't decide. Prefer almond milk or soy?!  They can accommodate. Thanks for being around, Wild....the same ole same ole can get pretty played out.

It was ok. When we were there they were out of bagels, and their credit card system was down. Not a big deal, but both annoying. The coffee was ok but really spendy! So overall the experience was pretty blah.

I'm not entirely sure what some of the previous reviewers are talking about, but I love this place!  (Although, to be fair, Victoria doesn't really seem like much of a Yelp town yet, and most of the reviews are not recent...)

I'm in Victoria very often, and this is my work/study/read/relax spot of choice.  I've always found the customer service to be extremely friendly.  They offer a ton of beverages I've never heard of, even being a Seattle-ite (white coffee? huh?), but the baristas are always happy to explain and recommend.  Almond milk latte? Yes, please.

There are tables, comfy chairs, even this sort of cool nook thing with a giant cushion on the floor you can curl up in.  There's always sunshine streaming in (when it's sunny anyway). and there is free, unlimited wi-fi, and nobody makes you feel guilty for sitting for several hours and working! (Although I usually do purchase a couple of drinks during that time period, so... you know. Don't abuse free wifi.)

With awesome places like this around, there is no reason to go to Starbucks unless you really want some diabetes in a cup.

Agree with the others about the service here. I've only been here twice: once just to get a muffin to go, but the second to get a drink to stay.  The guy who made my drink was really helpful and nice. I was getting the green tea latte and I usually ask about the sweetness because I don't like my drinks sickeningly sweet. So it's actually made with matcha powder from Silk Road and they add sugar syrup to sweeten it.  He put less than usual syrup in mine and asked me to taste it. If it was too sweet, he would make me another one. It was really good, creamy and I didn't ask him to make me another, but that he actually offered before giving me the drink is part of why I give them four stars for excellent service.

The decor in this place is really interesting and fun in a rustic way.

You'd think that when 2 of us walked in on a sleepy overcast Saturday morning, the two ladies behind the counter would have been able to help their only two customers in the place and put together two caffeinated beverages.  Apparently "12oz iced soy white mocha" was too much, since it came scalding hot in two paper cups.

When my partner's 12oz came in two paper 8oz cups (have these folks never heard either communication or a cup cozy - can we not all agree to reduce and recycle?), and his "white coffee", which he was told was "not as strong as regular coffee" tasted like boiling hot water with a few drops of FD&C Yellow No. 5; we decided to promptly throw the both away and go to the nearest chain-cafe; where it might lack a lot of things, but consistent definable taste and accuracy are far more solid than my experience at Wild Coffee.

I'd have given them another half-star had they realised that the 8oz should have been a 12oz and the mocha should have been iced; but in the 2mins between us looking very confused upon receiving our drinks and us leaving, neither employee bothered to ask if everything was okay.

Suggestions to future patrons: make sure that the person making the actual drink hears you, and if it's not what you ordered - SEND IT BACK!  Avoid "white coffee" unless you're in the mood for a "taste so subtle that not even a dog can smell it".

Unique decor concept .... very Salt Spring islandish but with a Victoria flair.

Staff is very helpfull and fun.

A great place to relax for the afternoon and do some reading.

Recommend their "Cafe Mocha, no whip, extra warm, to stay".

Service was terrible, especially considering the overpriced beverages. In addition, there aren't explanations of any of the beverages on offer, which include white coffee, and latte like drinks which are represented as coffee. I found the wooden stump seats visually appealing but uncomfortable and ultimately felt that this is an example of the worst aspects of Victoria food and beverage culture; chic but useless.
