Decent selection of outdoor activity gear, and it's close to my home.  I view this store as an acceptable alternate for those times that I don't want to drive all the way downtown to get to MEC.

Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.  Downside is I find their prices to be a little higher than MEC, which I guess is the trade off for the convenience of their location.

I have shopped at wholesale sports since it was "Custom Gun" on 115st and have found the selection decent but the service usually sucks and I have often felt that they think that they are doing me a favour by letting me shop there. The prices are also not the best. They used to be alot better but now it is just a store I go to if I am in the area. As I said about  the Cabellas store, I can only hope that Bass Pro Shop decides to build in the Edmonton area and then I will never shop at Wholesale sports or Cabellas again.

I'm not even much of an outdoors-man, but I have to respect the selection Wholesale Sports offers. If you love the outdoors, this store has EVERYTHING you need.

I came here looking for some camping chairs for my backyard and wasn't expecting this store to have as much as they did. I think the building this store is in used to be a Wal-Mart, so it's pretty huge when you walk in.

They've got everything you would ever need to go camping and much, much more. The selection is truly incredible. They even have a whole section dedicated to just fly fishing, and that alone is bigger than a  Subway branch.

    Crazy store.
