Review from Cody S.
This is a pretty busy location, located right inside Richmond Centre. The staff here is always friendly and very efficient. You aren't gonna wait all that long for your food.
The food is standard White Spot quality. It is darn good. It is always a great choice when you can't figure out where to meet a friend for lunch. Parking is great, no hassles there. Try a salad here, you might be in over your head. -

I'm a fan, yet I can't give them 4 Yelp stars...why you ask?
Well, basically White Spot is the American version of Denny's. *Ducks and hides* Now before I start getting Canadian hate mail, let me finish, this is a complement, in a round about way....seriously....
The location is very busy, we totally lucked out on rock star parking, as we stopped here for a quick bite before entering Vancouver proper on Mother's day, eh! The service was decent and the food was just okay. No one got sick afterward, unlike a prior visit to Denny's in the States, so that's good, right?
We kept to the simple things on the menu, I had a open face hot turkey sandwich, Mrs had the pulled pork sandwich, Boy-san and Gramps had a burg, other assorted items from the menu were chosen. Each one came out hot and decent enough.
I must say, this place was packed, must be the location. And I will say, I have never seen so many Asian peeps eating spaghetti in one place, maybe I missed something???
White Spot, it never misses the spot....*rim shot* *bows* Thank you very much...remember to tip your server, I'm here all week... -

I had a big shopping trip after work, and was so tired by the time Richmond Centre was closing. That meant the food court was closing, as well, so White Spot was the first convenient place I could rest :-)
I tried the new meatball spaghetti, and it wasn't bad at all. I would have preferred the sauce to be not so TOMATO and have some other "umami" in it, but hey. The server asked me if I wanted to add a side salad or a soup for a pretty good deal, but I was pretty sure I would be too full. I was. -

This White Spot proudly displays their awards from the local community for being a great restaurant with awesome customer service and that pride shows in their staff.
It truly stands apart from the other locations. On top of that for the past few years they have opened themselves on Christmas day where all staff are working on a volunteer basis with tips (and possibly all proceeds) going to charity. How cool is that?
That same air of caring about other people carries through out the year and that's what makes this place enjoyable to eat at.
Service is great and orders are processed quick here with food arriving promptly. Even when seated in the dead corners of the restaurant. -

I would say it's a step-up from Denny's. It was so busy (in a fun way) and I pretty like the lay-out where you have this partitions that gives you privacy.
I ordered their "Legendary Burger" and it's actually good (coming from a person who is not really into burgers). What really stood out is their sweet potato fries. Darn, that was a-m-a-z-i-n-g.
Our server was also very nice. 4 stars!
