I love whitespot!  I've been here so many times with the family.  Went for lunch just the other day with the boyfie.  There was a ton of elderly people there - we were the youngest people in that restaraunt.  haha  There is often a few minutes wait at this location since it's busy.  But it's usually a really short wait so I never mind.

I always have the BC chicken burger (without the bun since I avoid gluten, I usually take some digestive enzymes when I eat here too - just in case).  I love the amount of sauce they put on their burgers.  And the chicken is really good too.  I wish they offered a gluten free bun but I still get full without having it.  The amount of food is always enough to fill me up.  Boyfie had a beef burger and devoured it in seconds - he said it was good but I'm not sure how he could taste it when it disappeared so fast.  haha

The service was good.  A tad slow because it was busy but they filled up my water a lot (always very important to me) and they were friendly.  They forgot the coleslaw on my plate (they often forget stuff at whitespots) but just brought me some on the side right away so it was no problem.  Some whitespots have crap service but this one has always been pretty good.  I love the taste of the food and the casual atmosphere.  It keeps bringing me back for mooore.  Maybe someday I'll be one of those elderly folks kicking it back at the Whitespot every day for lunch.  haha

    Great healthy, Low Calorie Breakfast!
I ordered the Mushroom, Spinach Red Pepper Frittata.  At 270 calories, it was really tasty! In fact, I kept saying,"This is really good," in case anyone was listening.   I appreciated the calorie section of the menu, since in January, most of us have a 'food hangover' after the holidays.
The service was friendly (waiter with the scar, thanks). The food was great, including my companion's Eggs Benedict. He said you could really taste the butter in the sauce. And White Spot doesn't go overboard on the portion size. I hate being faced with an overflowing plate.
I think this is the best White Spot location in Greater Vancouver.  The interior decor is average, but the service and food make up for it.

Gilmore is the best White Spot out there! I have tried lots of them and some have really disappointed me! But this one is always consistant with the food.
I only go to White Spot for 2 reasons: the burgers and the fries.
I also like their sunny start breakfast which looks like a burger but has eggs, bacon and the secret triple O sauce! You can get it with hashbrowns (which I don't like because they are grated and pan fried) or fruit.
For the burgers, I like them all but I have 3 favorites: legendary, tandoori chicken (this one is on special sometimes) and the grilled chicken burgers.
Their fries are the best! They are always freshly fried and hot and they are thick homestyle cut...yum!. Oh forgot to say bottomless???.
This location is usually very busy but it has good rotation (i think I have waited 15 min max to be seated).
Service is ok. There are 2 servers that rock (i wish I knew their names). The rest are pretty average. Food comes out fast depending on how busy they are.
Now they have the dessert trio but my favorite is still the brownie and ice cream dessert (fresh and warm).
I can't go without mentioning their milkshakes! They are amazing!
If you crave a good burger, visit this location and you will not be disappointed!

White Spot has always been a local favourite since I grew up in Vancouver.  Now, I have allergies to gluten, egg and dairy and they were not accommodating at all. for lunch, I had asked if I could take out eggs from a dish and pay less, but the waiter said no.  I asked to get more of the other ingredients to make up for it, and he still said no, but would ask his manager if he could do anything.  He came back and said no modifications whatsoever and the price is the price with no aplogies or empathetic attitube.  Considering that White Spot has been around since 1928 in Vancouver, they should be more accommodating to people with allergies; more people have allergies these days.  I will never eat there again.

I've never been to a White Spot before, so when a friend suggested it, I cautiously agreed. People we all excited about the burgers and shakes, and I love burgers, so... how could I go wrong?

We got there at 9, and a server came by with menus and then came back for our drinks order. Seeing how we were already hungry, we were ready to order! But the drinks server isn't our main server. So she said she'd be back with our drinks and grab our server. Repeat this whole scenario again. By the time we put our order in, a half hour had rolled by and we were seriously starving. But the orders were in and were eagerly awaited our food. For another half an hour. Honestly, I think we ate our food faster than we waited in that restaurant.

The food, by the way, is good. It's not the most amazing burger I've had, but the burger and shake deal for $12 is pretty decent. I still think Red Robin bugers stack up much better.

By the time we were done eating and finally got the server to get us our bills, it was just passing 1030pm. We then sat around for another twenty minutes waiting for her to return so we could tell her we were paying by credit card. I totally wish I had cash so I could've just put it down and left.

Overall, the food was only "meh" and service was crazy slow. I don't think I'll be returning to a White Spot anytime soon.

Whitespot.. what happened to you? The burgers don't seem as juicy, and their whitespot special sauce (probably a mix of thousand island and mayo) has gone missing... it saddens me

In terms of burgers, I think you'll probably get a better fix at Red Robins.
But their milkshakes are still top notch! and if you like your fries on the softer, and not steak cut.. its good! And they're endless as well.

Service is friendly, and food usually comes out at a good pace/rate. Within 15 minutes of ordering.

Price is very reasonable, and portions are generous. I also like their coleslaw! Random.. but I might as well throw it in there.

All White Spots are not created equal.

This is the best White Spot in my opinion the food here out shines the other locations.

White Spot isn't exactly an upscale, fine dining restaurant but god dammit I love this place. Perhaps it's the nostalgic value, as this is the only place we used to "eat out" at as a kid. My brother and I would get so excited when Dad decided he would rather have White Spot make us our dinner than do it himself.

This location is pretty good, went here last week for a burger. I always get the Monty Mushroom burger and this time it was delicious as always. Sweet potato fries and coleslaw were awesome as well. My friend got the Double Double burger. Afterwards we ended up sharing the sampler desert. It came with a piece of cheesecake, some kind of chocolate cake, and some kind of apple something or other. I was only really interested in the cheesecake but it was all good.

After we were done and paid the bill, we sat at our booth for about 45 minutes talking. Our waiter checked on us a few times to see if we were done, but he wasn't obvious or pushy about it, which I liked. I kind of want to go there right now and eat a burger after writing this review.

I love White Spot.  Their food is good and I do feel like they satisfy my cravings when I'm wanting high calorie foods!  Most of the time the service is friendly - never had a problem with there attitudes.

The downside to this place is that it seems like they are consistently busy.  Always there is a line-up, always there is a wait, and always is their service slow.

I would suggest to think about just going the drive-in way.  Their drive-in service is much quicker :)

Definitely an awkwardish location but always busy for lunch.

Everyone knows White Spot food - so is middle of the road - nothing seems to really change too much.

I have a few usuals - and on this day it was a double-double with western plate. It really is A-OK, nothing spectacular, and the service was fine.

We were just left alone to conduct business with a client over burgers which was great.

I know that White Spot isn't necessarily the "coolest" place to write a review for (I mean, this was a pretty standard spot to go to with the family when I was younger), but when you've got a hankering for a good burger it's a hard place to beat.

Every once in a while, the thought of zoo sticks will pop into my head, and it just won't go away my urge has been satisfied. Tonight was such a night, and the food didn't disappoint. The burger platters are incredibly filling; I ate only half of mine, and I still feel like my stomach is going to explode. Good thing though: I have leftovers for tomorrow. Huzzah!

Overall, well done, White Spot. I'll see you again in a few months.

When i think of White Spot I usually associate it with super slow kitchens. I went there on a Saturday by my lonely self and found at I didn't have to wait for a table. Menu was simple, price was a little high for breakfast but I guess it's a chain restaurant.

Service was quck, I had my coffee within 2 minutes, ordered within 2 minutes of sitting down.

In terms of my food, you can't really frack up on breakfast but my eggs didn't look like there were two eggs. Unless the eggs they used were from the human equivalent of little people chickens.

Next time I'll come for lunch instead bb

we're visiting canada and it appears that white spot is like an adult version of denny's.

was it amazing?  naaah, but does it work in a pinch?  yah.

family had fettucini alfredo with chicken and broccoli.  chicken was dry and flavorless.

me and cousin shared mushroom burger which was decent for late night fare.  fries OK, but what was cool and something we werent used to was offered with vinegar.  yes, that is what they hand you.  ketchup and vinegar.  gravy too they have...damn good gravy that made the lackluster fries taste great.

mom had clam chowder - tomato based which didn't exactly have a lot of clams, but it was fine.

this place gets three stars though because it is clean and the waitress was extremely friendly.

Having a bad case of the Mondays I decided to go to White Spot with a colleague.

Can I just say that nothing turns a day around like a Legendary Burger with sweet potato chips and that yummy chipotle mayo dip. You simply cannot be stressed out with a meal like that!

The only way things could have got better is if I had asked for a pirate pack boat to wear on my head as a hat (if you went there as a child you know what I am talking about!

Real fresh BC blueberry pie. Triple "O" sauce on the side. Mushroom burgers with sweet potato fries. Milkshakes with the extra canister... and buttered naan? Yes, that too was delicious with the chipolte based dipping sauce.

    I love you White Spot.

Great for families and kids alike.

This location serves the best food of all the White Spots that I've been to. Their Monty Mushroom here is excellent. Good amount of sauce, and the patty cooked just right. The cold slaw is also very good, with the right amount of dressing.

Without a lineup, there seemed to be no hostess when I arrived this Sunday afternoon July 25/10. I waited what must have been 10 minutes (but seemed longer) before any of the staff approached me, but alas once someone did she awesomely took my order once I sat (versus make me wait longer for the waiter/ess). Then before I could really settle in, my ice tea arrived, a perfect beginning to the end of a hot afternoon.

This White Spot is one of my favourites as it's pretty close to my place and it's comfort food at its best!!

My standard last year before they changed the menu was the tortilla salad with bean, corn, chicken...but very sadly, they took it off the menu :(

My new regular order is the salmon sandwich with cesar salad on the side.

AND...if you don't really feel like going inside, the Drive-In is perfect!!
