I don't know why, but I have always really enjoyed White Spot.
From pirate packs to triple o burgers... This chain has been a BC staple for as long as I've been dining out with my parents.
The service at this location has always been great, food served promptly with a smile. My mom and I really enjoy coming here for a quick and easy brunch on the weekends. We've never waited more than 10 minutes for a table, to boot. The staff is polite and the servers work for their tip, which is always nice to see!
What lost a star for me though, is the food quality. Sometimes, the dishes are brought right away and are tasty. Burgers are well seasoned, fish and chips perfectly battered - the plates look exactly like the ones from the menu! However, once we had to flag down our server twice to ask her to check on our burgers. I have a feeling they just plum forgot and when the plates arrived the burgers were sloppy. Needless to say we weren't impressed. We mentioned our displeasure to our server who was more than happy to adjust our bill to compensate for the slow order and careless presentation (after all, you eat with your eyes first!).

I'm giving it 5 stars for the excellent service. My friend and I wanted to go somewhere to chat and have a snack, and we didn't want to go to Starbucks. We weren't sure where to go, so we checked Yelp for what was available near us. We decided on White Spot despite the bad review, and we're very happy we did, the food was good and the service was excellent. We stayed late, and I kept thinking they would want to kick us out, but they were very friendly, and gave us none of those "when the hell are they going to leave" looks. We were so happy with the friendly service that we went back a week later to have dinner. We'll keep going back.

Pretty consistent, a west coast tradition
How can you not like White Spot. It's a West Coast tradition. Everything from great burgers to rice bowls and stir fries, or if you like even traditional turkey dinner.
It's a chain that you won't find many places outside of British Columbia, and if you are looking for consistently tasty, reasonably fast food that won't break your budget, it's a reasonable option. -

Was in with my husband, and for the second time in as many weeks, the burger was undercooked. Disgusting. We asked to speak with the Manager. When she came over to our table, she did not say sorry once, but argued with us as to just how undercooked it was! She was sarcastic, unprofessional, and had the worst attitude. When we told her we didn't appreciate how she was treating us, all she did was smirk at us. She did nothing to try and keep us as patrons, so we are NEVER returning. White Spot, you should not have this woman representing you. You have lost 2 customers and you don't seem to care.
