Wow, this was really great PIZZA!!!
We purchased the pizza and they asked when we wanted it delivered, what a concept. We ordered it early and they delivered it right on time. GREAT Job.
The Pizza was loaded with topping, hot, fresh, and tasted amazing.
Looking forward to our Next Pizza, YUM.
Thank you -

The canneloni here is the best comfort food in the known universe. It comes to your table with molten, bubbling-hot sauce and cheese. The portions are so large, that I usually eat some of the sauce with bread, and maybe one canneloni. That's OK though, because it makes for excellent lunch the next day.
It's best to wait until you're really hungry before going here, as there are no light menu items that I can see. Even the salads are laden with cheese. -

First off, the first clue should have been an empty parking lot. But due to the awesome reviews this place had, I still had to try it. I was craving the so-called outstanding cheese bread that was raved about, the delicious pizza that was better than pizza hut.
I order a ceasar salad, cheese bread and a lg. petes special pizza. The waiter was friendly and kind and informed me that we couldn't go wrong with the pizza.
When the ceasar salad arrived it, I thought it was put it in the oven with the cheese bread, it was wilted, soggy and warm. The cheese bread was something that a couple of frat boys could have whooped together and pulled out of their toaster oven on a saturday night after the clubs have closed.
I didn't care for the lack in quality of the ingredients. The mozzarella cheese was more like a kraft single slice slapped on top of a hoagie sub roll.
After forcing down the warm salad and the after-school special attempt at making cheese bread the pizza arrives.
It looks great, after taking the first slice, I immediately noticed the italian sausage was far from fresh. It was the pellets that are more commonly known as bought in a bag or seen served at Alfies and Chuck E. Cheeses. The rest of the ingredients were covered by the top surface of cheese that they were not cooked to completion. The mushrooms, bellpeppers, pepperoni and salmi was all extremely soggy and greasy.
We had consumed 4 slices of a large pizza, boxed the rest, brought it home and the dog didn't even want it. we ended up putting it in the yard waste bin.
On the plus side, the parking was good and the napkins were the expensive almost cloth like paper napkins. So maybe thats where our $45 went. :-( I will never eat there again. -

Yummy, hot, cheesy, comfort food. I'm typically not a fan of pasta with red sauce, but I really enjoy the pasta dishes here. I couldn't tell you if they're authentic or not, nor do I really care, because the dishes just hit the spot. The manicotti is delishhhh. It comes out piping hot, with cheese bubbling on the top. Very heavy and filling.
You also get salad and garlic bread with your order too. I don't know what it is about the ranch dressing here, but it's amazing. I could probably drink it by itself and skip the salad completely. Pretty much everything here, including the salad, is drowning in cheese. Dairy and my stomach tend to disagree, but I don't care, because eating here is totally worth it. The grinders are very good too. Crunchy bread, filled with meaty cheesy goodness. Mmmmm. AND THEY DELIVER. It really doesn't get much better than this. -

This is not Zeek's or Delfino's - it's not a gourmet joint, nor was it infested with badly parented shrieking youth of all ages when we were there today.
This is greco-italian comfort food, with a solid core of goodness to it. The 83yo companion did not kvetch, even mentioning it was some of the best spaghetti she'd had in a while, and vastly better than that she was exposed to in the failing days of Lombardi's of Ballard.
My "Carnivore's Delight" pizza (Canadian Bacon, Salami, Sausage, & Pepperoni) in the small 10" size was yummy - with a red sauce a little more peppery than I'm used to, but cutting the richness of the cheese perfectly. The crust is reminiscent of that of Olympic Pizza up on 15th on Capitol Hill - chewy with some crunch to it, and whatever cheeses they are using, I have no complaints. Rich, but not overwhelming.
Am I giving up Delfino's? Heck, no!! But feeding two adults with *good* comfort food for under $25 out the door commands attention. And sometimes, comfort is more important than exotica and a drive. -

I have been going to White Center Pizza since I was an embryo. Okay, not quite that infantile but my familia and I have been patrons of this restaurant for years.
White Center Pizza is an Italian place owned by Greeks and has more than a few Greek influences. Rather than Italian decal decorating the dining area you get great pictures of sunny Greece. There are even Greek items on the menu such as gyros, greek salad, and tzatziki.
The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Many have been there for years. There is a cook there that looks like Joey Buttafuoco. Remember that guy? The whole Long Island Lolita scandal? Everytime my mom and I go there we ask each other, "Is Joey working?"
The menu is spacious and includes your typical Italian fare: pasta, pizza, grinders, and as previously mentioned some greek food. The pasta dinners are enormous. The portions come out piping hot, covered in still bubbling cheese, and the final touch are pools of grease on top of your entree. Fantastic. I have never been too excited about the pizza but the grinders are incredible. When I was a carnivore I used to order the Italian grinder which is loaded with Italian sausage, mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce. Good enough for you to say in your worst Italian accent "Bravo! Bravo!" or "Its me! Mario!"
White Center Pizza does have a special place in my heart because in middle school I played softball and they sponsored my team. When you go, check out the pictures on the wall near the entrance. The girl's team in 1994? Yeah...I'm in that picture. See if you can find me.Listed in: Pizza, pizza

Rarely do I frequent this part of town but I did venture recently with a group of peers. We landed at White Center Pizza & Spaghetti House and let me tell ya, this place does not take food lightly (in a good way). Here's what I learned - this restaurant is family owned since 1979 by a Greek family who are all pleasant, charming and a whirlwind of fun! The restaurant was packed with families and couples young and ... well, not so young.
If you love cheese, then this is the place to go.
We ordered a large pepperoni & mushroom pizza along with other great tasting dishes. They don't use just mozzarella on the pizza - instead, it's a blend of various cheeses that compliment the deep-dish-style crust and toppings. The pizza slices have the perfect chewy-crispiness to it. You'd think that it'd be extra greasy but it's not.
The dishes are large in portions. The tortellini and ravioli dishes are topped and smothered with cheese goodness and baked in the oven to give that perfect texture.
If you're in the mood for a toasted sub-style sandwich then definitely try their Grinders. They have a good selection to choose from.
The waitstaff were incredibly friendly and really made an effort to befriend their customers. They conversed and laughed with their customers and staff. It felt like home away from home ... not to mention I never went thirsty! My glass of water was always refilled at the perfect time. That's always a plus in my eating book.
You won't leave this establishment hungry... but you will leave with a to-go box in hand. -

This is one blue collar pizza pie.
It reminds me of Pizza Hut, but it tastes better.
You can choose between two, TWO sizes (Small and Large), and there is ONE crust choice (Pizza Hut Jr., with less grease slathered on her undercarriage).
Tends to be heavy on the cheese (and beware, the cheese is prone to slide of the rest of the pie like a summer windsail, taking the toppings along with it, so you may want to use a fork), but you can request that they ease up a bit on the ol' white and yellow.
Yes, white AND yellow. They seem to use some strange blend of American, cheddar, and who the hell knows what else, but I bet it ain't Mozzarella.
As this is one of the few places that services our area, I will continue to take deliveries. They have a storefront, I believe, but I ain't been, so this review is for the pie alone.
$14 and change for a Large Pep. Not bad. Still got half the mofo in the fridge...lunch! -

So living in the Burien/ White Center area you have to have eaten at White Center Pizza. Let me just warn ya, this place is not for those on a diet. Not only is there amazing lasagna smothered in hot bubbly melted cheese, but the house salad is covered in shredded mozzarella as well.
Their grinders have caused many a Saturday afternoon craving. You can call ahead or stop by and enjoy, but either way there is almost no way to go wrong with anything on their menu.
They have a banquet room that looks good for groups of , and I am guessing here, of about 20 or so. Seems like a fun office party or little league team gathering spot. -

the place had a the vibe of small town pizza place but the pizza was ohhum not the best. The crust was without fluff or flavor and reminded me of store bought frozen crust good but not great.

Delicious, thick, gooey pizza and they deliver to our house. They are always nice, the pie is always hot, and it's become our ultimate comfort food since we moved to this neighborhood a couple of years ago.
One day we might actually get our butts into the restaurant and sit down and have a meal, but in the meantime we will continue to enjoy the magic they bring to our house when we're having an at-home movie night or completely lazy day. -

The Food is classic stick your ribs take a power nap type of meal!! like others have mentioned before the portions and GRANDE and CHEESY!! it may seem a bit expensive but you get your money's worth
My favorite is the Chicken and Lasagna combo $13.99 is not too bad considering you get a salad and bread sticks. So if you want to have a full belly and you like pastas and pizza this joint is a CONSISTENT performer.

Spiro's and Olympia's kind of prepped me on this, walking in I noticed what many people with a fairly good eye for detials must have before me- I was in a Greek Pizza place. Huzzah! My only good pizza experiences have been American or Greek style Pizza ( I'll review should I find an Italian place, and yes Greek Pizza-noun is capitalized because I find it an experience or idea rather than your average blaise`, ambigous noun ) . Though to be clear, it is not competition for my most beloved Spiro's or Olympia's- it is the White Center sister Pizza place.
So anyway the food was generous. Feeding more than five people a sitting noting that they didn't get stingy or pretenious about their allocation of feta on my greek salad, is very good. The salad was too much for me to finish but a damn tasty deal for only 5.95. They have nice warm pita apitizers, fresh Tzaziki sauce and that delightful cheese on cheese action with our pizza. As is always the case with these sort of joints, the toppings were generous and the mozzerella had cheddar over it and the toppings.
Mmmm. The staff was so attentive and sweet, and I'm not saying this just because family-owned places have a very special place in my heart, they were. Sometimes waitresses who own the place and/or also cook are overbearing and treat you like a not-so-welcome guest in their house and serve up the sass with the wrong fountian drink.
Aaah, (sigh of relief) this is not the case here. Heartfelt compliments to the waitress/hostess were recieved graciously and happily. Cups were refilled, angels sang, the Spumoni was bountiful and yea- it was good.
Side note though-my sister ordered spaghetti and it was overdone, I think the lady in charge noticed this because when she came over the first time she looked concerned at my sister's plate, but she's eight years old and doesn't care- and our experience was so nice we never mentioned it. A real attention to detial and warm atmosphere, thank you White Center Pizza and Spaghetti. -

Yummy! We finally stopped in one night after driving by for years. We had two hungry boys and two picky adults to feed. The food, the service, the price ..... everything was fabulous! We will be back for the cheese covered ..... anything you want :-)

The pizza here is really good. It's thick, well-made, and very tasty. I'm okay with the pasta, but it's nothing to write home about. Their sauce is really good. They put the cheese on top of the pizza toppings so you don't have to worry about them going all over the place. (An extra star, just for that.) Average time for delivery is about 40 minutes, which is the same as all other places that deliver in the area.

This low key neighborhood restaurant is just the place if you want to feel like you're back in the 80's as a blue collar worker and after a hard day of work you and your fellow blue collar guys (Think of Deer Hunter cast minus crazy christopher walken) wanted to get a beer and a hearty meal. pretentious has no bearing at this place. hipsters and yuppies need not come. you will not enjoy this. The salad/apps are as plain as the generic salads you get at convenience gas stations and the entrees have a touch of chef boyardi at the helm. Me and my friend ordered a beer and the spaghetti with ribs. Excited that I could get some pork ribs slathered in sweet bbq sauce with ribs, I was somewhat disappointed that they were served in the sweet and meaty sauce of the spaghetti. The noodles plump and hot, the sauce greasy, sweet, and meaty. It was a flashback of my childhood and how much I like...foo-foo italian food now (tavolata, la spiga). The portions are large...for big eaters. it definitely has made it into notable places to return, i just don't know when that situation will arise.
