Nestled in between a brand new Lawton's and a brand new Shoppers, Pharmachoice doesn't have it easy down on Tacoma. Frankly, without the big red or orange building-wide banners of the others, it's pretty easy to overlook in the more run-down section of this little suburban hub.
The other day I figured I'd shake off the habit of going to my usual drug store of choice and check out the scene at Pharmachoice. And while I'm not going to make it my number one destination for all things bath, beauty and beyond, I gotta give them some credit for certainly being the most likeable of the bunch.
Pharmachoice is just all a bit dated. It's smaller than the big box options and therefore has fewer products and fewer choices within those products. That's just the reality of it all. But, on the other hand, the people working there seem to care and actually have some personality to them unlike the minimum wage teens at the competition.
While I couldn't find some of what I was looking for on the shelves, it was a nice to say something and get a response other than, "cash or credit?"
