The school that I work at has the most amazing theatre group and this year I was lucky enough to be a small part of it. My job was working with the Front of House kids and my main responsibility was renting them tuxedos for a full two weeks while the play was going on.
I called Western Tuxedos and booked a fitting. After explaining that we had barely a budget for the rentals, we were able to get them for only the cleaning cost.
Even after returning them a day late, a dozen red roses and a picture of the kids in costume secured us their rentals for years to come.Listed in: Greatest Hits

For a man that defines 'dressing up' as un-deadstocking a fresh pair of kicks and have a nicely matched fitted, they made the best of out of what could have been a horrible experience.
Fittings were quick and professional. Rose has a good eye and was pretty much able to nail my fitting in one shot. If you have an unusual body type like me (tall and fat), Rose will make quick alterations. The bride had made some very specific demands on our pocket squares and Rose was followed instructions to a 'T'.
Kudos for searching my returned tuxedo when I thought I misplaced my wallet in there. Sorry about the red wine stains though. Some boorish drunkard did that... (slinks away)...
PRO-TIP: Best pickup line when wearing a rented tuxedo: "Hey miss - I'm wearing rented pants - want to make out?"Listed in: East Van Life
