Great value for your money. 2 adults and one child, 5 hours of racing fun and then fireworks, $45.
They had straight racing, hit to pass, bus races, mini figure 8's and fireworks to finish (I still scratch my head a little at the bread toss tradition they carry on, but hey, it's just good fun I guess). Note: the events that take place each Saturday vary week by week and there's only fireworks a couple times a year.
Critical survival tip for people who have never been: bring a cushion or something soft to sit on and either bring a jacket or a blanket, even in the middle of summer. We always pick a car to cheer for at the start of each race to add to the fun. Western Speedway can be a great way to spend a couple Saturday nights each summer.
