If you're looking for fast, friendly, and scrumptious food, the West End Diner is for you. No question. Their breakfast spread is unmatched in value -- quality product across the board, and delivered hot and fresh in no time.
Although the servers may be working out a few of the kinks, the cooks are up and running at full speed.
Me and my boys had breakfasts all around last Saturday and we all left full, with a few extra bites still on our plates. Quality bacon. Great waffles. Really good coffee.
Looking forward to several more visits.
**I thought I should update this review -- I've been back several more times, and the servers have definitely ironed out the tiny kinks that were there (which were borne primarily from the fact that my first visit was merely 5 days after they'd opened). Now a visit to West End Diner nails the perfect trifecta: Great Food, Great Service, Great Price. -

Glad to see a quality resto spring up in Whitney plaza... I saw that this new joint, and wanted to try it out. Attempt number one, it was packed. No chance we were waiting 45 minutes for breakfast. The next weekend we tried again. Very short wait, and we were politely seated.
Standard breakfast joint / diner menu. Service was good, quick and attentive. Food was well prepared and tastey. Not the place to go if expecting foodgasms, but if you are looking for a good breakfast, I reccomend!
