It should be noted that I have no will power when I have not snacked for several hours which is what brought me here in the first place. That being said, I had heard that their new burgers were better than previously (almost anytyhing would have been an improvement from the previous burgers, yuck!) so I decided as a desperate attempt to satiate my hunger to pop in here.
The place is clean, spacious and well laid out with a nice view of the vancouver skyline so I was pleasantly surprised with that aspect. The counter service was fast, apathetic and efficient.
The burger was much better than expected from a fast food burger place, the bun toasted, the lettuce and tomato not only present but fresh and delicious, the burger hot and greasy but not disgustingly so, the cheese - real, seriously, real cheese. Yes, much better than before - when craving a quick but real burger, I'd go back. -

Staff at this restaurant will try to short change you if you pay cash. I bought a 6 dollar meal, and I paid 20 dollars in cash and the lady behind the counter gave me 2.50 in change. I told her that I handed her a 20 dollar bill and she just said "what?" like 3 times. About 30 seconds later, she realized and she gave me the proper change. This happened to me 3 times at this Wendy's. I complained to Wendy's head office and they never gave me a reply.

ok ok..i know i shouldn't be here... but i was starving..and it was a long day...and i was only gonna come in for fries....but then....
the ordering started (i was with my best friend..we are both gluttons in disguise)
we ended up with:
a baconator
a crispy bacon deluxe
2 large fries
an oreo twist frosty
crispy chicken tenders
....and thats it.
no, the food wasn't stellar (although, i have a weakness for their fries...damnit), but the lady who was taking our order was so cute. she kept asking us if we were done our order but we kept adding more food...she laughed at us as we kept ordering. we had to wait for our fries and chicken strips so she told us to sit and she'll bring it to our table.
both times, she walked right by us before she realized that it was us who wanted the food...she laughed at herself both times and apologized and we couldn't hold that against her--she was just too endearing.
ok, last visit to a bad fast food joint, i swear.
