Food was good,  I was very impressed with the decor - clean, modern.  not kid friendly and our waitress was completely clueless.

I ate at Wendel Clark's during a Leafs game about a week ago. The place is pretty much the perfect place to go if you are hanging out with some friends and watching a game. They have hockey memorabilia all around, the food is easy to eat while watching the game.

Pros: Great Atmosphere, lot's of tvs to watch the game on. The prices were pretty reasonable. The staff was pretty good.

Cons - The waiter I had was always in our face like every two minutes. I understand he wants to be attentive, but he was a little bit too much so.
    Overall
The nachos took a while to get there because of some accident in the kitchen, but they made up for it with a free round, and admitted it, which was admirable, so it wasn't so much a both. I was surprised by the Sandwich I got, it was quite good, not at all what I was expecting, but I enjoyed it.

All in all, if you are in the area, and are looking for somewhere to watch the game with friends, I would definitely recommend it

Feb 13, 2010. My wife and I went out for valentines dinner over the weekend to Wendel Clarks in Oakville. Ever since the one opened in Vaughn just never had the chance. While Wendel Clark is my hero his grill lacks a lot of what Jack Asstors has.

The over all seating experience was amazing. TV at our booth watching the olympics, pictures on the walls tv's everywhere, the place is amazing looking.

The food and service on the other hand really was not good.

We ordered the Pull away bread and opted for the extra $1.99 for parmesan cheese on it. At the same time we ordered 2 drinks. it took 20 minutes to get 2 drinks. The waiter then took another 15 minutes to bring out pull away bread that was obviously microwaved. It was like a rubber shoe. Covered in some kind of tomato sauce with meat. My wife couldnt stand the smell. I tried to eat it eventually I called the waiter over and told him that in no way will I pay for this. He did remove it from our bill after he attempted to put a knife into it and he agreed it was a microwaved mess. The tv's went down with a blue screen saying that you need to push something to unlock the satelite. After about 5 minutes I asked a waiter he said it happens all the time just wait and it will be back up. 15 minutes later after everyone was complaining it came back up. That was annoying, as everyone was watching the olympics when it went down.

I ordered a steak with a shrimp skewer, and my wife ordered the chicken tenders with honey garlic sauce.

The steak itself was actually very flavorfull however it was cold when it cam to the table. The mash potatos were actually very good, however I was very suprised that the meal didnt come with a salad. The shrimp skewer were like rubber.

My wifes chicken tenders were out of a frozen box, she compared them to presidents choice. She had  potato salad as a side and it was great. However again everything was cold. Also she was charged 75 cents for the honey garlic sauce.

In the end I loved the actual look and feel of the grill, but the food was horrible. I actually thought about getting burger king when we left at least it would have been warm.

Love Wendel Clark, love the atmosphere .. hate the food .. DONT ORDER THE PULL AWAY BREAD !!  If I was Wendel I would take my good name off the name of the place.

This is another good place for consultant's and travelers to get a good meal at a good price. Unfortunately the price of liquor is almost prohibitive anywhere in Canada. So stick to draft beer. Food was good, I enjoyed a grilled chicken with panchetta on a chimbatta role. Steak fries and a white Russian. I don't blame bars for the cost of booze I blame the greed of the government. Overall this is a decent place to have a beer and spend time with colleagues and friends. 3 of us ate for around 50 dollars (Can) but two drinks I added 30 dollars. Just ridiculous, stick to having a beer.
