Review from Selena B.
This was SOOO much fun!!! 1st off the staff were amazing everyone was happy, friendly and good with all types of people. My guide was especially fun, and made sure that every single one of us fell (okay, we pushed each other) into the water before we went to the rapidy river. (Personally think this was a nifty trick, toss your shipmates into the still lake so that if they ever do fall into the river there'd be less panic)
We did the Green River course, although the website says 3 hours, it really is a less than an hour trip on the river, and about 10-20 min on the lake for training. (They do spell this out on the webpage).
Its a class 3 river, and for me as a first time rafter, I found it to be incredibly fun, though my friend who had been rafting once before, found it a little dull and short. And although it is only a 3 hour tour, it ends up being more like a day long experience since you end up soaking wet and stinky from the wetsuits they lend.. hence a shower is recommended before you can head back out to town. I advice booking a morning trip or end of the day trip.
This is a wonderful summer activity, and I highly recommend it for people who are looking for something water venturous to do up in Whistler. They also have longer harder courses for the more experienced. :) -

Great experience rafting with this company. The guides, while sounding rather scripted, were extremely lighthearted, safety-oriented people. Very charismatic, and in my case, extremely handsome.
Ladies (and gents, if you are so inclined!), should you ever go rafting at this place, see if you can request JS. That man is gorgeous. The French-Canadian accent doesn't hurt, either.
The operation is very efficient, and the photographers do an amazing job of making you look happy and pro at rafting (even if it's your first time). My only qualm would be that it wasn't long enough! The Green River tour is what we did, and it's supposed to be a 2 hour tour. At least 45 minutes of it is on a quiet lake, learning the ropes.
Once you get out onto the rushing river, the adrenaline rush is pretty amazing. Perfect for beginners, but still challenging and exciting. -

We booked a 1:00 Green River tour on Saturday. From start to finish the guys running the place were a riot. They provide everything you will need and the process was very stream-lined. The rapids for the Green River rafting were class 3, so if you've been before you might want to do the class 4 rapids. Though it was a lot of fun, I wished it had been a little more dangerous. : )
