A delightful experience all around: food, service and spectacular view. If you can, visit on a Friday or Sunday in time for the fireworks over the falls. Or just go for the food, which is terrific.

To put it succinctly, I won't be going back.

My Fiance and I ate at the Watermark breakfast buffet on January 28th. I believe the total came out to nearly $60 for the both of us, including tax and tip. For $60 I am expecting a knock it out of the park breakfast. What we got, was the exact opposite.

    - The fruit was bruised. Bananas had black spots all over them.
    - The scrambled eggs were possibly the worst I have ever had.
    - The sausage was rubbery. Thats the only way I can describe it.

The decor was very old. The marble steps leading down to various parts of the restaurant were noticeably chipped away and the colors were faded. At a different restaurant, I wouldn't have cared. However, as I said before, when I am paying nearly $60 for breakfast you have to hit it out of the park.

I am in no way a food snob, and I often defend restaurants that some have problems with. But this place needs to re-evaluate their operation.

My dinner experience here was rather mixed. Obviously, they get 5 stars for the view - an absolutely amazing view of Niagara Falls from 33 stories up. Service was also five-star with very knowledgeable and friendly staff throughout the establishment.

Unfortunately, the food was subpar, especially given the high price point. Dining with two business colleagues, we each opted for the market catch - described to us as striped bass fillet lightly floured and seared and accompanied by two garlic shrimp, served with basmati rice and veggies for $42. Expecting a fresh, moist fish we were disappointed that the bass was extremely overcooked and, while flavorful, very dry. The vegetables were overcooked as well and the rice was, well, rice.

They do offer a nice wine list with a variety of options rather reasonably priced.

Absent the terrific view and stellar service, this would have been a two-star rating. Would I do it again? Probably not - there are ample options here for dining with a view. I would likely try one of them.

For our rooms, breakfast buffet at the Watermark Restaurant was included. Why is the name Watermark? I am not usually a fan of breakfast but everything was made so fresh. There were a lot of different options. Hot breakfast, cold breakfast, fruits, yogurt, etc. My favorite had to be the omelets that they cook in front of you. Mmmmm I miss it already.

A major plus is the gorgeous view. I felt like I could fly into to the waterfall, Eating in heaven.

The view was great!  And it is expensive for what you get.  As part of a "Romance Package" my wife and I got a $75 coupon for the restaurant.  I had prime rib and one drink.  My wife had fish, and a glass of wine.  The food was good, but nothing special.  The totals...  Dinner $140, Tax $22.40. With the $75, the bill was $85.41.  Still high for the quality of the food....

The "Romance Package" also gave us a free breakfast.  Made-to-order omlettes using "processed eggs", fruit, sausage, bacon, hash browns scrambled eggs, bread, bagels, etc.  The self serve potatoes, sausage, and bacon were all room temperature.  Unless your breakfast is free, I would go to Tim Horton's next door.

    WOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooW!!!!
Came here for the breakfast buffet at $20/person and the very first thing that happens after the elevator doors open and your make the turn into the restaurant is you lose your breath. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL of Niagara Falls up here. We enjoyed a leisure breakfast while soaking up the view and the sun. Save the extra $100 you'll have to pay for a falls-view room and just come up here.

For food snobs, please be sure to check the attitude at the door, as they inevitably always come to the conclusion that any buffet sucks. The selection here was standard breakfast food such as scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausages, potatoes, cereals, fruits, assortment of breads, bagels, and pastries. Also the wait-staff was very friendly.

If you decide to sit right up next to the windows, be prepared to get a whole lot of sun. The raised booths offer some protection from the sun. Even the bathrooms were immaculate, and the waterfall faucets made for a very appropriate and elegant touch.

I love this restaurant.  It reminds me of the 360 Restaurant in the CN Tower, but this restaurant holds a special place in my heart.

It is a little on the pricey side but for special occasions I like to come here.  The view is AMAZING...absolutely breath-taking.  I've heard some things about the sun being really bright, but having only been there during the evening/night, I have yet to encounter that problem.

The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and the wine they are serving.

The food is really good.  We always order the appetizer for 2, it comes with delicious smoked salmon and panko-crusted Camembert Cheese with jelly, among other things, and is definitely worth ordering. After that my BF and I usually share an entree.  After the delicious bread, whipped butters (strawberry? yum!), and the wine, we leave satisfied.

This is such a romantic place, perfect for dates.  And you don't have to go far to get to the bedroom afterwards! Haha.

    5 stars!

The view is really amazing.  Got that out of the way.

I came here for the breakfast buffet.  For two people it came to $52 with tax and tip and it was god-awful.

The tater tots, bagels, and (probably) French toast were fresh out of the freezer.  The omelet station produced the driest most overcooked omelet I have ever had.  The sausage links were something you might be able to pick up at a convenience store.

The server was friendly and the coffee was okay, but the food had all of the hallmarks of really bad mass produced foodservice-type food.

Breakfast is the easiest meal to prepare.  They mangled breakfast so badly I can only suspect that dinner here is at least equally as atrocious.

54 dollars for a 10 dollar porkchop. Waiter did not offer a replacement nor offer anything else to remediate the situation. zero complaint was made to management, but now I wish I have. Our overall bill was close to 400dollars for 6, the food qualty was subpar. Go to canyon creek (more like run to canyon creek!!)

The restaurant sitting atop the Hilton South Tower on Fallsview?  Maybe they need to rename it the "HIGH Watermark" restaurant.  I mean, where else would you easily find a $90 tab for an oh-so pedestrian choice of filet mignon with lobster tail?  Or how about a seafood platter for 2 at $149?  Sure there are other less pricey fare, but not much is on the menu that's south of $40, and that's just for the entree.  No way around it - to dine at the top, you have to pay top-dollar, right?

UNLESS...you go for breakfast!  In a recent stay, we got the best seat in the house at the corner of the restaurant.  At 33 floors high, the Watermark could thumb its nose at the ugly casino across the street.  To the left of that eyesore are the rolling waters of the American falls: to its right, the majestic tumbling currents of Horseshoe Falls.  Bring a pair of shades and a camera.  You'll forget that it was for tummy food that you came.

Oh breakfast was fine.  It's the usual cornucopia of a full American breakfast, complete with an omelette chef eager to make yours to order: 2 yolks and 2 whole, with mushrooms, provolone, and a pinch of pepper?  Consider it done.  The bacon was full of maple-sweetness without an unwelcome intrusion of too much sodium.  The pastries were nicely presented and tasted as good.  Items missing that perhaps I should have expected: no berries of any kind, no smoked salmon, and no cheeses.  the latter two I could have overlooked, but at 20 smackeroos, one would expect at least some ripe red strawberries begging to be sampled.  I recently read we have so many strawbs in Florida this year that they're destroying crops to keep the price up.  Coffee was unremarkable.

Just out of curiosity, I went to the cafe buffet on the main floor.  It was the EXACT same buffet, but it was jam-packed with not-so-early-risers - definitely more business than the upstairs sister dining.  Take it from me, folks, at $5 more upstairs, do your eyes a favor and get on the elevator.  It's well worth the extra dough.

I don't know that I'd spring for that same view for dinner at the kind of premium I outlined.  It might be more romantic at night, but I wonder how much of a full view of both falls you'd get, the falls being lit up at night notwithstanding.  During the day, you see EVERYTHING.  My only wish was that I could HEAR it as well!

We had brunch here during a stay the the Hilton. It was a beautiful Sunday morning on a bright and sunny autumn day. The buffet is a bit pricey but the food was awesome. The view is unbeleivable, no matter where you sit.
