I am absolutely in love with this place.
My boyfriend and I went there for dinner one night after I had went to a company Christmas party here.
The location is beautiful, the romantic fireplace, all dark wood. Get ready for a romantic meal.
I ordered the schezuan chicken with manacoti and my boyfriend ordered the plank salmon. He said his was OK, Mine was fantastic.
I think I mostly enjoyed the beautiful view of the harbour, the warm fireplace and the wonderful wine!
I had a very nice evening here, and very reasonably priced!
Defiantly date recommended! ;) -

Ate lunch today, the seafood tea was delicious. The broth was very good, the shrimp however was way over cooked and chewy.
The oysters were excellent we ordered 2 and @$25 for 12 they better be! The atmosphere was dark yet cozy and the dining room was closed (pity, that was were the view was) so we ate in the pub. Overall, I will go there again. -

My Waterfront Warehouse experience left me feeling, for lack of better word... meh. On the positive side, they were able to seat a fairly large group of us, and the meal I had wasn't horrible, but that's pretty much where the positives end. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant, yet we watched 5 or 6 servers mull around the bar for about 20-30 minutes before anyone came to take our orders. When our beer arrived, it was flat and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The menu itself was limited, and everything is WAY overpriced (likely to take advantage of the summer tourists). If you're going with a big group, have lobster on your agenda, and don't mind spending a fair amount of money for some pretty average food, then this place will be fine for you, but it's certainly not the best that the Halifax waterfront has to offer.

The restaurant decor is very interesting with lots of old ship memorabilia .
Arrived at 3pm, just before we had to get back on the cruise ship
1. Lobster Roll $16
Unfortunately they mixed the lobster with too much bread and various other vegetables which made it difficult to taste the lobster.
2. Crab Cake $15
Same as the lobster roll, the crabs were mixed up so much it was probably just 10% crab -

If I had friends coming to town, I wouldn't recommend that they go to the Waterfront Warehouse for seafood. In fact, I did have friends in town from Toronto, and I made the mistake of taking them there. It was early June, not exactly off-season for a touristy restaurant, and the place was empty (this was late morning).
Despite being the only customers, we unwisely decided to stay, because I kind of enjoy the kitschy decor. But our server (who looked terribly hung over, and in fact confessed to that later on) was mostly AWOL - couldn't be bothered to check on us.
The food was embarrassingly bad, dry and flavourless (crab cakes and lobster rolls) with the exception of my Bouillabaisse, which was adequate, but no great shakes. Also, prices are too high given the quality of the food and the service. -

You know summer is here when the signs are up that patios are open. Waterfront Warehouse from the outside is huge and walking in it looks just like a warehouse open concept feel to it with a hug bar on the side filled with some great beer on tap.
Starving one day I convinced the BF to pop in so I could get something to eat. Of course I try to do something I go with a Cesar salad which was not that bad I found the dressing to tangy. The BF went for the typical burger and fries which actually looked really tasty. I seen in some of the other reviews that the seafood was a hit and miss and that goodness I am not a huge fan. I can get the F&C and that is about as far as I am going to go.
Now in the summer time this place is normally filled and flowing outside to the large patio and sometimes even volley ball games with sand brought in to make it like the beach. Fun times to be had at the Warehouse -

This is the one restaurant or bar that we went to multiple times on our 4 night trip to Halifax. It is a warehouse that made boats or something at one point in time that was remade into a restaurant so there is a very rustic feel. The music was soothing and place was very comfortable. Food wasn't amazing, but it was very good. There is a separate menu for oysters and a very large selection of fresh seafood dishes. If I return to Halifax, I will be sure to stop in here again.

We asked for seafood recommendations and this place came the most highly recommended, so we decided to give it a try despite the fact that it was rather crowded that day (there were 2 cruise ships in port). There was a nice outdoor patio, but thankfully the inside was just as breezy. When I saw the orders of lobster passing by, I knew I had to have one. Not having a good sense of size, I got talked into a 2.25 lb. lobster, which turned out to be way too big for me to eat by myself. Nonetheless, it was delicious; it didn't even need any butter, and it wasn't the slightest bit rubbery like the lobster you get on the west coast (it was only overshadowed by the lobster I had in Maine the next day). I appreciated how the (live) lobster was presented to me for my inspection before it was cooked. I saw another couple order a lobster that was almost as big as the whole table. Meanwhile, Vince got an order of crab cakes and a seafood bouillabaisse. Both were excellent; to this day we are still talking about those crab crakes. With our food we also had a few glasses of a local Nova Scotia white wine, though we just as easily could have had locally made beer as well. The service was very friendly, though a little slow due to the lunch rush.
