I am quite surprised that I am the first one to review Wah Kee. Tucked away on Sandwich Street is where you find Wah Kee, just south of the bridge. It is nothing fancy, but it is very authentic and some items on the menu are incredible.
I have been to Wah Kee many times and it is one of my favorites for Chinese food. It is so much better than what I can find in Detroit. I know there are other items on the menu here or a completely different menu in Chinese which I have seen.
The spicy baby squid is righteous here as are many seafood items. Cod with their black bean sauce and is wonderful. I am usually picky with hot and sour soup, but their's is very good too.
I know what to expect when I come here and I am never disappointed. This is just a small diner like place, nothing fancy, but their food compares to most all other Chinese restaurants.
