(Just as a side note - this location has moved to Chippewa Road in the 'business district' of Sherwood Park, AB)
I just recently started getting my nails done on a regular basis - for my last set of gel nails and subsequent fill I went to Nails by Donna but in an effort to try new places I decided to give Vo's a try as I had heard good things from a few people. I went in on a Thursday at about noon with no appointment hoping for a walk in. Although they were busy and had other bookings they were, thankfully, able to fit me in before my hair appointment 1.5 hours later.
The staff were super nice and very personable and the shop appeared clean and welcoming. In comparison to the other nail salon I go to, the lady at Vo's was much faster but slightly less gentle - she cut my skin a few times (very minor) but was extremely apologetic about it (no biggie!). I love the coloured tips and they have a pretty good selection with some really neat designs. I also like the way the nails turned out here more than my other place as they are significantly thinner and less bulky. I also had her free hand a little flower design on my nail and she did an amazing job - I was blown away with her talent!
All in all I had a great experience here and will definitely be back for a fill soon. Do caution though - they do try to up-sell their other services; however, I did appreciate that as I had never had my eyebrows waxed, so she offered to do them for me, which is something I have wanted to get done but I never really think about it at the time - with nothing to compare it to I think she did a good job :) .
