Friend and I wanted a last minute pedi so she suggested we go St. Albert Trail location for convenience. We booked to go in at the same time so we could chat and relax. One chair wasn't working and they obviously double booked us so we weren't able to be done at the same time. Long story short with lots of miscommunication due to lack of English skills. I ended up with the worst pedi I have ever had. The woman was bouncing a round between me and a lady having a manicure (we were both mad) she took 10 minutes( nipping my toe with clippers in her rush) to do the entire pedicure then tried to charge me $45 which i flat refused but still paid $30. All my toenails were cut in different directions. She was literally looking all over the salon frantically and not looking at all at my feet. WHAT A MESS. needless to say my friend never did get a pedi and we vowed to warn everyone we could to STAY AWAY from VOS

Remember the "Men on Film" skit from "In Loving Color"? Got an overpriced pedicure there and HATED IT. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Come to think of it, no one has reviewed Vo's, yet. Could it be because Canadians are notoriously polite and will not criticize a salon that has the gall to build several locations for itself?

My big sis and I were in Edmonton over the weekend for a cousin's wedding. Not know what's what or where it's at and whatnot, we had another cousin drop us off at Vo's, which is apparently a chain up there. We had a little time, so decided to get a little something done prior to the wedding on Saturday afternoon.

First of all, it's a pretty shabby-looking establishment and the service is terrible. There were only a couple of people in front of us, but it took the nail techs forever to complete them. The nail techs were surly and made me ask more than once to fix the scalding spa pedicure. They only trimmed a couple of toenails, and I had to ask more than once to trim all of them. Yes, I have sinned - it's been a month since I've had a pedicure.

Second of all, it took them forever to do a poor job. The extra time we had disappeared and we were unable to get our manicures. They tried to insist on doing a 10-minute manicure. We put our feet down and let them know we were leaving.

Anyway, it was a $30 pedicure on Saturday, and I started chipping on Monday. The manicure would've taken another $20. $50 at many stylish, quality salons in Chicago will get you good-looking hands and feet that will last at least a couple of weeks. What a waste!
