With so many electronic boutiques out there, everyone's gotta stay competitive with one another. You've got your Best Buy, Futureshop, London Drugs, even Sears and The Bay carry electronics.
As a consumer, the best part of being a customer is you can always shop around and demand a price match. Furthermore, they will probably give you 10% off the difference.
Now Visions may not be the biggest retailer and carry every piece of equipment but I'd like to describe the service I was given.
At the time, I was looking for a specific LCD TV (Sony W-series). However, Visions didn't carry it. The rep instead sold me an LCD one trim above the W series (Z-series) for the same price.
If that doesn't scream deal, I don't know what will. I'm not saying they all will do that but it wouldn't hurt to talk to these salespeople like a real person and if you get a deal, reward them with your loyalty.

Visions is pretty good when it comes to electronics prices.
They are much better than best buy and future shop, and they also offer a pretty good selection of TV's. It can be hard getting help but if you get the right person you are in luck. Some of the sales people will offer you better deals than what's advertised and they will throw in extra things as well. When you can't get anyone to help you it gets annoying.
It's definitely good for prices. -

I came here o buy a new HDTV for my basement. Visions prices are actually a lot cheaper than Best Buy and Futureshop. I found a 32" 720p Sony for just over $400, which is a steal for the brand alone.
Don't expect any help from the staff though, no one bothered to help my family while we were shopping. They only helped us after we bought the TV and needed it carried to our car. -

Visions isn't my favorite electronics store.
I've had trouble returning things with them in the past and it's left me a little bitter.
All bitterness aside though, Visions does have some great deals from time to time. Lately, they've had the cheapest TVs around.
I find the staff at Visions to be knowledgeable but very pushy at times. They don't care about the person, they care about the sale. I don't like that.
But like I said, they can have some great prices. So if you don't mind the lack of friendliness and do like getting right to business, Visions might just be the place for you. -

Bought 2 car stereos and a laptop last time I was in.
Got our TV and home stereo there too all for a good price.
Once in a while you'll find a dud working there who messes up your whole day by screwing up the whole bill and charging you the wrong price, but they generally care and the managers and staff are all basically great. We'll see how the install goes later this week.
Ok- so got my install all done. They did a fine job. No hassles. Boom boom!
