Shopping on Granville Street on a clear and crisp December day, I stopped upon seeing the display window of this store. There were 3 dresses-all unique in their own way. I had to go in.
The decor is simplistic, with racks of clothing running down each wall. The pieces they carry have been selected wisely, and I absolutely love everything there. Items are very girly and romantic, and their dresses are amazing.
Spotted some key items-a cute red Paul & Joe Sister belt, and I think I found my new favourite brand: Sachin+Babi from New York. They're classic pieces, with a mix of textures, stitching and embroidery.
Items are pricey here $200+, but I enjoy browsing through the elegant contemporary pieces that the store carries. -

Violet carries contemporary women's high end fashions from all over the world but mostly New York, France and Italy.
Although the price (average $200-$300) is tragically outside of my range that doesn't stop my from admiring their STUNNING dresses through the window and stopping in for a peak and a chat.
Extremely classy and romantic, it is clear that Violet has very astutely and carefully picked their items to reflect their unique style/mandate. Some brands include: Paul and Joe Sister, MIH, Bella Jones, Sachin and Babi, Les Petites.
Not my entire waredrobe yet, but hey, I can dream.
Specialties
A little shop, nestled in the South Granville neighbourhood. A place for exceptional things; white walls, french doors, the scent of roses, and friendly chats. Home to one of a kind, innovative and independent designers such as Rachel Comey, Suno, Whit, Tucker and Cotelac.
Something special for everyone, because beauty is in the details and everyone should have a little piece of luxury.
